Private school AU

Okay im sorry this is super late! But I hope you like this one, no warnings, just an 'I'm sorry it's so late' so yeah. Enjoy! Also, this is 4,584 words long. Sorry, by also not cause I think you'll like it.
Will's POV
The car door slammed behind me and the cab drove off. That was it. I'm starting a 'new life' as my mom calls it. I call a way for her not have to deal with me. I dragged my suitcase behind me as the scorching autumn sun shone on my shoulders. I had only visited 'Sunnyvale's School for Undeveloped Teens' once so far. So I had no idea where my dorm room was, or who I would be rooming with. Walking along the hot concrete sidewalks I look for a sign.
My mom only wanted me to go here because it had programs for people who had learning disabilities. But mostly it was just teens with ADHD/ADD or dyslexia who never got treated. I told my mom I didn't want to make her pay for school, seeing as it must have cost a fair amount, but I'm almost 100% sure she just wanted me out of the house right now. Since she's a single mother with another teen and a little kid it isn't easy. Especially when you had me as a kid. I can't pay attention in class and I was always getting in trouble.
I find my building and start climbing the stair cases to my new living quarters. Upon entering my room I notice a small living area. Not much there, a couch and a couple bean bag chairs. There's a speaker in the corner of the room and a radio next to it. I guess my room mates like music a lot?
  "Yo! Guys we have our last roommate!!" A loud startling voice comes from a hallway. A small Latino elvish boy stands there. He wears a button down white shirt and trousers with a big tool belt. A mop of brown curly hair tops his head and his eyes are a fire-y brown.
  "Awesome, come on guys," another voice appears from one of the rooms. A tall tan boy with black hair and bright green eyes joins the elf in the hallway. I suspect he was the other voice. Three more boys join him but I can't really see them well.
  "I'm Percy, this is Leo," the tan boy says while gesturing to the elf. "Then Frank, Jason, and Nico." Frank was a bulky Asian with sweet brown eyes and smoothed over black hair. Jason was a fit blonde with blue eyes. He reminded me of a lot of the jocks at my old school.
  The last boy, Nico, stood in the back, hiding behind Jason. He had black messy hair down to his neck with olivey pale skin. He's very short, and gaunt. But the thing that was startling was his eyes. They were a dark brown, but his eye liner made them stand out and pop. I would lie if I said I wasn't a little bit attracted to him.
  "Hi, I'm Will." I said awkwardly with a slight hand wave.
"It's nice to meet you Will," Jason started. "There are two bedrooms right here. Then one down there." He pointed across the living room to the other side of the wall. The only sign of anything there was a door, no decorations or names on the door.
"Percy and I have this one," he pointed with his thumb to the room where he had just come from. "Leo and Frank have this one," he then pointed at the one next to his. "You'll be sharing a room with Nico over there. The bathrooms right here, and you've already seen the living room." Jason finished.
  "Alright, thanks." I walked into my new room, only to be meet with disappointment. There were two beds, at opposite sides of the room. A desk in between, a shelve above the two beds, two dressers, and a book shelf. There weren't any decorations. No sign of anyone living here whatsoever. No posters, no papers on the desk, the bed was made and all of his clothes were folded and put away.
The door opened and closed behind me. Nico had walked in and stood next to me. I shrugged off my back pack and put my suite case on my bed.
  "Um..." he coughed into his elbow before continuing. "Welcome, I guess." His voice was low, but you could still hear the pubescent teen in him. "Yeah, thanks..." I trail off while I start putting my things away.
  "Do you guys all know each other?" I ask him after a while of me unpacking and him sitting on his bed. "Yeah, we were all here last year. Our friends are next door too." Nico says casually as he flips through a note book.
  "Oh, cool. What are their names?" I ask in an attempt to keep up a conversation. "Well there's Annabeth and Piper. Hazel and Calypso, and Reyna and Thalia." I nod my head slowly. I can feel the awkward tension between us but I don't know what to do about it.
"Yeah, Percy and Annabeth are dating. So are Piper and Jason, Hazel and Frank, and Calypso and Leo." I finish off with all my clothes and put all my hygiene products on top of it. "What about the rest of them?" I question, just looking for something to talk about.
  "Well, Reyna used to like Jason but she doesn't anymore. Thalia is aromantic, which Leo learned the hard way last year." I finally put my empty case under my bed. I stood up and looked at him. He was looking down at his sketch pad. I couldn't make out what he was drawing though.
    "What about you?" I ask after a moment of silence. He stops drawing for a second and stares at his paper. His eyebrows scrunch together. "No," is all he says before continuing to draw.
