I sit next to this girl about as tall as me, looks the same age, and has black and purple hair. I stare at her trying to get a better look, it's just so dark in here. She notices me staring she looks at me and says very rudely "Do you have a staring problem or something?" I quickly turn away and don't speak. She understood that I didn't want to make her mad so she turned to me and said "I'm sorry, I have anger issues. Let's start over, I'm Victoria. What's your name?" "Connor" I say very quietly "Are you scared?" She asked on the verge of laughter "a little bit" I say confused on why she's chuckling "Well I'm not, I killed the interview test and when I got up to leave the lady interviewing me said I was special so I'm sure I'll make it into the group!" She says very confidently. The Captain said that to me too should I not be worried as well. Maybe I should ask her what all this is she sounds like she knows a lot about what's going on. I look at her and she's talking to someone else. "I don't want to be rude" I tell myself "Just say excuse me." "Excuse me, Victoria?" I say as I tap her on the shoulder "what?" She says like she already annoyed with me. "You said something about a group a little bit ago, and I wanted to know more about what's going on here. Can you tell me?" I say hoping for an answer. She looks at me with a confused face "How do you not know, didn't you sign up for the position? And even if you didn't they were supposed to tell you after the first test if you passed anyway." "Well I didn't really sign up I was more like kidnapped and the only thing my person told me about was how great he was" I say with sarcasm in the tone of my voice. "Dang they kidnapped you, they're really going all in to get people for this." She says surprised "Well can you tell me what this is?" I say irritated from waiting for an answer all day. "Oh yeah well the reason why you're here is." Before she can speak the next word an adult comes from a desk in the left corner of the room to the middle and begins to speak "Hello children, welcome to test two congratulations on passing test one. In this test you will be showing your investigation skills because if you are not able to investigate correctly that could lead to a failed mission and if you fail a mission that could mean one of your allies could die. So do your best because I'm sure you don't want that to happen. Now someone will be passing out an notebook to each of you, now in this notebook you will be describing what happened in the situation that will be appearing on screen in a moment. You will have 15 minutes to do this test. Use as many pieces of paper as you want. No cheating. And when the fifteen minutes are up you all will line up at my desk and slide your paper into that little slit over there that will scan your paper and will determine if you got what happened in the picture correct or not. If it is correct you pass this test and will move on to the next if you fail you fail. Good luck" the lady smiles then walks to a projector at the back of the room. While she was talking two men passed out a note book and pen to each of us. I open up to a radon blank page in my notebook and mentally prepare my self for the task at hand. I look back to the woman at the projector anticipating the start of the test she opens her mouth and says "Let's begin, 15 minutes on the clock. Good luck" right after she says that I hear a flick of a switch suddenly a light turns on exposing the picture we had to examine at the front of the room. It looks like a murder seen there's a gun on the floor, blood, a corpse with a bullet hole in the head, in what seems like an office. Obviously the guy was working at the desk in his office when an intruder broke in to his house he came in the room thought no one was home so when he seen the man working got scared and shot him in the head the man working feel over because of the force of the bullet and when the intruder shot the man the intruder got scared and dropped the gun and left that's why nothing is touched in the room. Once I conjure up that storyline I write it all down feeling very confident in my answer besides one little detail that doesn't connect with my story at all there's flower petals all over his desk but that's easily explainable and such a miner detail that I'm sure doesn't matter and I know I got it right. After about ten minutes I get done and there's about five minutes left for the other people to get done. I close my notebook and look up to see if anyone else is finished there's a few people but mostly everyone is still working. I look over at Victoria she has one word written down in bold letter "SUICIDE" I read this and I get confused then I look at her and I can tell she isn't able to focus I wish I could help her but they might think I'm cheating. With about one minute left on the clock I take a look at the picture again and my answer for it. Wait a minute flower petals, gun, guy, and the most critical detail in the picture a wedding ring on the table off his finger. Omg how could I miss that Victoria was right it was a suicide the man found his wife cheating on him and decided to end it all I can't believe I was so stupid. With 30 seconds left on the clock I realize I'm wrong and have no time to change my answer, knowing I'm going to die, and slowly except my fate. The lady turns of the projector and walks back up to the front of the room. She opens her mouth and says "Great job guys, I'm really impressed now the test is over so take the best answer you have that you think is right and line up at my desk." She walks over to her desk and sits down all of us kids get up from our seats and stand in a line. I'm about the 23rd 24th person so we have time to wait. Victoria's behind me talking to the girl behind her like they are already best friends the line keeps moving only taking a second for each person to know how they did. I look pass all the people in front of me to try and see who passed and who didn't. "Pass, Pass, Pass, Fail." When someone fails they get taken away by what looks like security guards. The keeps moving up and in the blink of an eye I'm next. The person in front of me puts his paper in the slot on the screen in red letters it says fail. The security guards come out and take him away he begins to scream "WHAT, I SHOULD HAVE PASSED! THIS IS RIGGED!" Before he can say another word the guards pull him out of the room. I'm up, I slide my paper in the slot knowing I failed. I close my eyes and what seems like forever the machine finally gets done checking it I open my eyes to green words saying I passed. "What?" I said in disbelief the woman behind the desk says "Great job, now please go and stand over there for me." I walk over to where all the other people who have passed are still in awh about how I passed. Victoria gets up she passes and the line is almost done two more pass, three more fail and that's the end of the line. The lady from behind the desk gets up and comes and congratulates us. We all start to clap and holler after we're done with our excitement she begins to say "good luck in test three!" Right after she gets done saying that the body guards that were standing behind us took black cloth and tied it around our eyes. Blinded all I here is screams of the other people around me then I feel a slight pain in my neck then I remember nothing. I wake up what seems like days later still a little woozy from what happened I take off the blind fold to regain my vision. Once I take it off I'm blinded by white light but I can make out that I'm in a room of some sort. Once my vision comes back to me the door slams shut locks itself and the woman on the P.A once again in the same voice "let the third and final test commence. Good luck."
