"Six questions" Captain grey says to me in a mysterious voice. "Six questions is all you get for me to understand who you are and to convince me that we shouldn't kill you." "KILL ME?" I say shaking in fear "Yes, if we don't feel like you are fit for this position we can't have people know about what we're doing here. So we are going to have to kill you." He says in a serious manner to show he's not joking. "Fine, let's get this over with." I say without a care in the world if I die or not. He looks at me with a confused look on his face and asks "You don't care if you die?" "No, not really. Nobody cares about me anyway so no one will notice I'm gone." Dazed and confused acting like he didn't hear me say that he looks down at pieces of paper on his desk for a minute. He looks back up and asks me "What do you do for a living?" I look back at him confused "Are you blind? Do you see what I wear? I don't have a home, I walk the streets for a living I can't get a job because who would hire a highschool drop out with no home no family no nothing. I'm a street rat I can't do anything for a living besides walk. Walk." He looks at me stunned unable to ask me the next question I see the pity in his eyes and he finally works up the courage to ask me number 2. "What can you bring to this position Victoria? Victoria? Focus" The woman with black hair in the long cream colored dress asks me "Im sorry, I got distracted. I feel I can bring intelligence, strength, and order to this position whoever the other five are I will try to help them and guide them so we can help this town and thinking farther into the future maybe even save the world." The woman looks at me with an impressed look on her face. I'm relieved she believed that. I don't want to die. She opens her mouth ready to ask me question number 3. "Are you okay sir?" A concerned man says to me "Yeah, sorry" wiping away the tears in my eyes "I'm just worried me and my sister have never been apart before." "Okay well let's proceed." The man reassures me on the task at hand. "How far would you go if you had to?" He asked "You mean would I ever kill someone?" I say with a little bit of resent to my voice "Essentially." He says to me looking for an answer "When it comes to my sister Sophie I would do anything for her she's the only thing I have sometimes I think to myself and say "Jacob you can't shield her from the world" and I know I can't but I do if she was ever in danger I would anything to save her and I mean anything." "Does that answer your question?" The man looks at me and nods his head and says "Indeed." "Time for question 4 are you okay with that Autumn?" I nod my head but I say no words. At least she's a woman so I guess I could talk to her. "Sweetie can you answer this for me?" She says in a sweet, innocent voice. I nod again. "Okay, what are your strengths and weaknesses?" I readjust my body mentally preparing myself for answering this question. "I feel like I'm really good with anything people give me as a task I don't stop until it's done I don't like breaking promises. My weaknesses are that I'm not the smartest person and I'm not the strongest either he showed me that." I burst into tears after her bringing up memories of him I couldn't take it "It's okay sweetie you're away from him, he's gone, you're safe. "Number five. What are your credentials Trent?" "Well I'm super smart, I like to call the shots, I like planning things with these other five I feel like I will be the leader."Wow you're very confident aren't you?" She asks me in a very seductive manner "I guess I am, add it to the list!" We laugh together as she flips to the next page in her notebook getting ready for the next question. "Hola Isabella, are you ready for question number seis?" A tall white man asks with a smile on his face "First that's just racist and I'm not okay with that now go on with it." I could have said a lot worse but I have self control lucky him. "What's your biggest fear?" "Biggest fear? Fire. Fire is the sign of destruction, evil everything bad, chaos. I don't like bad only good. And the only thing that can beat fire is water. Fire is the end. That's why I'm afraid of it."Alright" he says with an attitude because of me telling him off. "The test is over now Connor, thank you for answering our questions. You will be moving onto the next test." A breath of relief leaves my body. Captain grey comes around the desk to shake my hand. "You're special, remember that." After he says that he winks at me and I get suspicious on what this whole thing is. Out of the corner of my eye, out of the window I see a man with a child, the kid is blindfolded and has a cloth over his mouth. What is he doing he points a gun at the kids head... He's gone. I don't react because they would know I seen something I wasn't supposed to see. The security escort me out of the room into another. It's dark, all the lights are turned off there are other people in the room more kids besides me. We all sit down in these grey foldable chairs. The door shuts and locks by it's self, the woman comes on the P.A again and says in the same exact voice as before "Let test two commence, good luck."
