Dean grabbed a piece of toast off the large plate before running outside to his beloved impala that had finally got there.
"Hey sweetheart, did you miss me?" He grinned, excitedly, stroking his palm across the bonnet as he made his way to the drivers seat. He sat down in the seat and began to run his hands around the wheel and over the stick.
"Wanna go get a room?" Sam laughed, opening the passenger door.
"Shut up and get in the back."
"But-"
"Sammy! Back! Now!"
Sam groaned, slamming the door and scooting into the back, followed by Gabriel who looked at the car's interior wide eyed.
"Hello Dean." Cas smiled, sitting in the front.
"Heya Cas."
When they got to school they all split up, Sam and Gabe one way, Cas and Dean another.
"What've you got?" Sam asked.
"History."
"Oh. I have geography."
Gabriel pouted. "See you second?"
Sam nodded before turning a sharp corner and into someone, dropping his books. "Sorry." He muttered, bending down to pick up the sheets of paper.
"You will be, midget."
Sam stood to see a tall boy, he looked the age of Dean or Michael. But what struck Sam was those all too familiar, yellow eyes.
He looked around but they were the only people there.
"What's up? Gone mute...Sammy?" He snickered.
Sam went to walk around him but he was grabbed by his collar and slammed into the lockers, the bang echoing through the corridor.
The yellow eyed boy looked Sam up and down before he swung his arm around, colliding it into Sam's face however Sam barely flinched, he'd had much worse from his Dad.
He was dropped to the floor and the boy walked off.
Sam sighed and frightened tears fell from his eyes. He grabbed his books and ran, darting out of the fire escape.
~~
Gabriel went to their normal spot at lunch, wondering where Sam had gotten to after he didn't turn up for Art or English.
Slowly, people began to turn up to their group on the field until there was Lucifer, Michael, Balthazar, Crowley, Meg, Charlie, Jo, Kevin, April, Hester, Raphael, Metatron, Jess, Cas and Dean.
But no Samsquatch.
Gabriel sat, pulling out the grass, bored to death.
"Hey, Gabriel."
He looked up at Dean.
"Where's Sam?"
Gabriel shrugged.
Dean stood up and walked off, probably to look for him.
Cas looked at Gabriel with curiosity. "You really like Sam. Don't you?" He asked, rhetorically, before turning back to Charlie.
~~
Dean had searched the school but he couldn't find Sam so he ended up back at home. Silently, he climbed up the house to see Sam, through the window, lay on his bed. Dean, ever so gracefully, rolled into the room (luckily the window had been opend) and landed on the floor with a thud.
He got up and sat on Sam's bed to see he was crying. "Sammy?"
Sam turned over and sat up, pulling his brother into a hug and sobbing onto his shoulders.
They stayed like that for more that ten minutes before Sam pulled away, rubbing his eyes before wincing.
That's when Dean saw the black, bruises around they eye.
"Who hurt you?!"
"I don't know. Just some guy." Sam cried.
"Sa-"
"Leave it Dean. Its fine." Sam said, just above a whisper. "I'm going to sleep now."
"Okay." Dean stood up.
"Don't go Dean."
Dean smiled before settling down on the wooden, arm chair, watching over his brother.
"Thanks Dean."
