Griffin's Pov
I flew toward The Five, I got close and hovered near. I beckoned them to follow me and flew a bit further away.
They kind of stood there looking at me as I beckon again. "Friends, I think she wants us to follow her." I nod at the Red one's words. "Can you talk?" Asked the Green one.
"Yes." I replied. "Please, follow me."
"Why should we trust you, this could be a trap."
"She came before us, unprotected and unarmed. Perhaps you do not know her customs. Neither do I but, we must have some that are the same."
"Very wise. Perhaps, we do have some traditions that are the same. But for now all I ask is that you follow me."
They huddled together to talk.
When I flew back, I felt a shift in the air, and stopped and looked back so Red could catch up to me. "My name is Starfire. What is yours?" I hear her ask.
"Griffin." I reply. "That is a lovely name, tell me, what is the rush?"
"I have to leave soon." "Friend, Griffin, why?" "I will explain when we get there." I looked over my shoulder again. The others hadn't followed.
I landed and led her inside, to a different room than the one Yuki now slept in.
"I have a girl in there I rescued, from the one who calls himself, Brother Blood." Starfire went to stand and look. I caught her arm and guestured for her to sit back down.
"Let me explain. I was looking around and I heard Blood calling out for someone. I flew ahead and got her before he did."
"Brother Blood? But what does he want with a this girl that you have rescued?" Starfire asked.
"That's what I'm still trying to figure out." I say.
"Maybe she was a student of his and she was one of his experiments that has had happened to slip from his grasp?" Starfire said.
"If so, I need to protect her. I need your help to do so. Will you help me, Starfire?" I ask.
The red headed teen looks at me and smiles.
"I will do my best, Griffin." She says.
Yuki POV
I felt cold. I shiver. Why was my body curled? Wait...why am I in a bed?!
Oh no...did Blood capture me again?!
I feel anxiety creep up on me.
I silently slip out of the bed.
I look around. It was dark. I couldn't see a thing, until I activated my night vision.
I was in a bedroom. I couldn't see a door, but there was giant bay windows. I caught sight of the city. It was dark, but the city lights shone with many colors.
"What am I doing? I should be focusing on getting out!" I mentally slap myself.
I slid my hands on the walls. Searching for a secret door. First thing Blood does when he takes new people, is challenges them to find a secret door to get out a room. If you dont find it in time, you're dead. I was one of the lucky ones.
I felt a slight bump and suddenly, the wall slid open quickly. I let out a screech and jumped back.
I slapped my hands over my mouth.
I realized it wasn't a walk that opened, it was a door.
Were there security guards standing outside the door?
I poke my head out look both right and left. There was nothing but empty hallway.
Which way should I go?
I heard talking.
I froze.
I slowly walked into the hall.
I tiptoed through the hall on the left.
Why should I be silent? I could just blend in.
I used Nightmare to make me invisible.
As I was walking, I came into a lobby. I see Griffin there. She was talking to a man in green tights.
Now why would a man even wear green tights?
I shed myself of my invisibility.
"Griffin! Thank the heavens I found you! I think Blood has taken...us?" I lost my words when I realized there was only her and the man.
"Yuki, you do not have to feet. We are safe here. The Titans will protect you from Blood." Griffin said.
"Who are the Titans?" I asked.
"Come with us."
No POV
As Griffin and Robin lead Yuki into the living room, she asked, "So, Blood doesn't know where we are?"
"No. He's still trying to find you in the woods that is a few hundred miles from the Tower. " Griffin said.
Loud music blasted from a large theater sized TV. There were two cars racing each other.
There was a large man with a body made of machine and skin. And a boy with green skin and hair.
There was a girl wearing purple and had long red hair.
There was another girl meditating in the corner.
"Griffin, please, tell me who are these people?" Yuki asked.
"They are the Teen Titans."
