I stayed up for a while and talked to Kassie. She ended up telling me her life story and her time in a mental asylum. I think she was exaggerating with the asylum bit but I honestly just wanted to go to sleep. Luke was fast asleep when I finally got to bed. I set my alarm for tomorrow and packed up my bag ready with my camera, extra memory cards and my laptop. Tomorrow is going to be a good day, I just know it.

*the next day*

I slept past my alarm.

I'm now rushing to eat food and get dressed in time with my cab.

I run out the door. Damnit! I forgot my camera bag. Back I go again for the millionth time. I was wrong yesterday, today is going to be such a bad day.

I just gotta remember everything is going to be ok...

I rush to get into the cab and I make it just in time. I give him the directions and eat my granola bar and watch the ride go by. Today I'm going to 'Saint Luke's church of the saints' apparently it has a garden that people should visit. The people have sent me the article and I just have to take some shots of the certain areas. I write on a spare piece of paper, the places that I have to take some pictures of and some focal points. I need to make a good impression today or I'm screwed.

The cab pulls up at the church and I see a nervous looking man waiting for someone. It's busy so I brush past him with my bag before he grabs my arm.

"Excuse me" I said before pulling my arm out of his grip

"Are you the new photographer for gardening weekly?" the nervous man said

"uhh yeah, sorry who are you?"

"I'm cade; I'm an intern for this magazine"

His eye was a light brown and he had wavy blond hair down to his jaw. He looked effortlessly stylish in his black skinny jeans and grey beanie. I didn't realise I was staring.

"Are you ok? Is my shirt on backwards" he laughed

"Um no just... I don't know, where is the photoshoot" I tried to sound professional and keep my head held high

"It's right this way"

He led me into this beautiful garden. But it was empty...

"Where is everyone" I asked

"They're at a church service. You do know its Sunday?" Cade said

"Yeah... totally"

I rushed looking woman ran up to me.

"Thank goodness you're here, we need you to start over here" she said

She dragged me to the end of the garden and started telling me what shots to get and the lighting. She kept nagging at me telling me that it has to be perfect. I knew it would be hard work but I wanted to come here and do the thing that I love, and right now she's making me hate it.

I think its been an hour and we've finally got the perfect shot of the garden. Only 2 more to go and then I'll be done. This woman is so controlling. At one point she snatched my camera off me and started taking pictures of it. I can tell that she's never going to be a photographer.

*5 hour later*

I'm finally finished. It took so long and I haven't eaten any food. I'm packing up my stuff when the woman came over.

"I never introduced myself. I'm Carla Brown, Chief Editor for this magazine" she held out of her hand and I shook it.

"Nice to meet you Carla, I'm Skye Agresti." I said

"Anyway, I'm not sure this is going to work. We need a professional photographer. Frankly you were a onetime thing, a one hit wonder. We have no space for an amateur on our team. Don't expect another job here. Goodbye" she smiled at me in a sneering sort of way and then strutted off, heels clicking on the ground.

"Ooh that was brutal" I looked up to see cade

"I know, but I just have to find some more work I guess" I sighed

"You look starving, do you want to get some food from that food van over there" he pointed at a van a little further way from the church

"That would be great actually"

We walked over to the van and ordered 2 hot dogs for ourselves and started eating them. We walked and talked for a bit. But I need to go home because I'm exhausted.

"I gotta go and sort out a few things, but I'll see you soon?" I said trying to hail a cab

"Give me your number an ill text when I can met up with you. Life a the office gets pretty hectic and I don't want you to think I'm ignoring you" he laughed, but this time it was an un easy laugh

"Yeah, totally" I typed my number in his phone and got into a nearby cab

"See you soon" he called

"Bye" I said cheerfully, but not too cheerfully.
