Chapter 2

-time skip to next day-

Eyeless Jack's pov

     I'm supposed to meet (y/n) at the park tonight and I've been wondering of what I'm going to do when I see her. I was thinking until my thoughts were interrupted by a knock at my bedroom door. I hear, "E.J. it's me! Jeff!" 'Great' I thought. 'Just what I needed.' I opened up my door to see Jeff standing there with a concerning face and along side him was BEN. "What do you guys need?" They looked at each other with concerned faces.

    "Well," Jeff started. "You've been kind of.... Ummmmm... Spacey I guess I can put it." Jeff finished. "Ya. You haven't been eating with us and you've been killing less. Is everything okay?" BEN asked. "Ummmm..." 'Well I can't say anything about (y/n). "Ya, ya, ya. I'm fine. Just needing some alone time. Everyone needs it at some point, right?" I gave a nervous chuckle. 'I hope they bought it.' I thought.

    "Ya. I guess your right!" BEN said. "Well I gotta go and kill now." I lied. "Okay see ya later E.J.!" BEN exclaimed. "Ya see ya." I heard Jeff say behind me. I left out the front door and got to the park. I saw (y/n) sitting on her phone on the swings. I checked the time and it was 30 minutes before meeting time. I was wondering why she was here so early. I walked up to her and said "hey (y/n). What're you doing?" She jumped a little at my sudden appearance and said "what the bloody hell?!" She looked up and sighed in relief. "Oh E.J. you scared the shit out of me!" "Sorry." I said. "Its fine." She replied.

    "I was just waiting for you." She said. "Well your 30 minutes before our meeting time." "Oh! Well I just wanted to save the swings for us!" She smiled. I knew she wasn't lying though. I knew there were other teenagers who come here late at night too. "Okay well we could've just done something else so you didn't have to be so early!" She looked embarrassed. "Oh." "Well I mean I do thank you for saving the swings too." I said as cheerfully as I could.

   "Okay! Well here's your seat!" She said handing me the seat since she was holding onto it. "Thanks." I said. I sat down on the swing and we both started swinging. We were silent for a few minutes while swinging until I said "I know this great spot for fireworks! Since its the 4th and July after all." I smiled. She smiled back and said "that would be great!" "Well then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" I jumped off the swing and started running. I looked behind me and she did the same thing.

(y/n) pov

    We got to the spot and it had a hill and nothing else. I looked up and saw that the sky was so open and it had a lot of stars. It was beautiful. "This looks so beautiful!" I exclaimed. I heard him chuckle and what he said next flustered me. "But not as beautiful as you." I turned a deep shade of red and looked away. He walked up to me and grabbed my hand. He led me to the top of the hill.

   We laid down on the grassy hill and looked skywards. We talked for a while then the fireworks started. They were so pretty! The fireworks ended 40 minutes later. I checked the time and it was 1:30 in the morning. "Oh my gosh! I'm going to be in so much trouble!" I said. He picked me up bridal style, let me say it again, bridal style and ran towards my house. We got to my room window and he sat me on the ground.

    He opened my window and I claimed in. "Bye." He said. "Wait E.J.! Am I going to see you again?" He turned around since he was walking away and said "ya, of course." I blushed and he ran towards the woods. I closed my window, changed, brushed my teeth and went to bed.

I'm going to be in summer school for the rest of the week but I will try to update as soon as possible and I may update again tonight. MAYBE!!! But happy 4th!
