Chapter 14

E.J. Pov 

     I saw Smiley leave and approached him. He stopped and looked at me. We stared at each other for a while. 

       "What were you doing at the house Smiley?" I asked with annoyance. 

     "Jeff wanted me to check on the baby. Also, your child is a girl. In case you were wondering." He stated. 

     "Why would you do what Jeff says? It's my cghld, not his." 

     "Yes well (y/n) didn't really have an option. She can't walk for too long." 

    "Alright well I guess thank you for checking on her. Did (y/n) mention a name that she wanted the baby to have?" I asked. 

     "Yeah. She said that she wanted her name to be Rose." 

     "That's a beautiful name." I whispered. "Okay, thanks." I quickly added. 

    "Yeah, no problem." He said. 

    I walked back to the mansion when it started to rain. When I got back, I was soaked. I went through the doors, and ran up the stairs and went into my room before anyone could stop me and ask me questions. I stripped out of my wet clothes and took my mask and put a pair of grey sweatpants and a black tank top. I heard a knock on my door. Before answering I put on my mask and a black sweatshirt. When I opened the door, it was Slenderman. 

     "Oh. Hey Slenderman." I said. 

     "Jackson. We need to talk. Why don't we go  into my office?" He offers. 

     "Sure. I guess." 

     When we got into his office I sat down into one of the comfortable and stared at Slenderman. I thought of nothing since I knew he read minds. 

     "I heard that (y/n) pregnant. Congratulations." He said. 

     "Thanks. Would that be all?" I asked. 

     "No. I also heard that you didn't want to be a father so you ran away and Jeff is helping to take care of (y/n)." 

     "That's true, sir." I stated. 

     "Why is that?" He asked. 

     "Because I'm a monster." 

     "Well think of it this way. She wouldn't want the child if she didn't love you." 

     "Okay. Thanks Slender." I said. 

     "Of course child. And if you anymore help, I'm always happy to help." He said. 

     I got up and walked out of the office and walked back into my room. I laid down in my bed on my back. I looked over to my left and noticed how empty it is without (y/n). I took my mask off and got up to put it on my night stand. I looked at a picture that had us sitting next to each other and us sticking tongues out. I smiled a weak and sad smile and set my mask down. I picked the picture up and raised my hand over my head and smashed to picture on the floor and that's when my legs gave out and I fell to the floor. There was a knock at my door but I refused to answer. 

     "Jack?" BEN asked. "Can I come in?" 

     I didn't answer. He took my silence as an invitation and walked into my room and closed the door. He walked over to me and squatted down by me. He looked at me for a while before standing back up on his feet and stuck his hand out. I looked up at his face and then at his hand. I took his hand and stood up. He lead me to my bed and we sat down. He hugged me and I was frozen until I hugged back and cried into his shoulder. When I stopped we stopped hugging and I was trying to get my breathing back to normal. 

     "So. What are you so upset about." He asked. 

     I looked back to the picture of (y/n) and I then looked at BEN. "I realized that I messed up big time with (y/n). I shouldn't have acted like such I douche. I bet she probably won't even take me back. Jeff took her away from me." I said. 

     "That smiley freak can't do shit. Jack, you need to go back after her. You're too torn down. I know that I have no dating experience but I don't like to see you like this. You just need to tell her what you basically told me. That you miss her and such." He explained. 

     "Okay. Thanks BEN." I replied. 

    "Yeah. Of course. And if you need help to win her back or whatever I can always help with that too." 

     "Okay. See you at dinner?" I asked 

     "See you at dinner." He replied.
