This Chapter is about Potions and how to make them because I have always been confused about potions and I know a lot of other people have too. So that is why I am doing this chapter. So let us name all the potions and what they do.
First of all if you add gunpowder to any of these potions you will receive a splash potion which you throw on the ground or wall and get that potion effect.
Adding glowstone to a potion will make it one tier higher. For example a strength potion will turn into a strength II (2) potion.
Adding redstone to potions will increase the duration of the potion.
Now for the potions.
Positive Potions
Potion of Swiftness- Makes you much faster and go faster when upgraded.
Potion of Healing- Heals 2 hearts instantly and 4 when upgraded.
Potion of Regeneration- Heals your hearts over time.
Potion of Water Breathing- You can breath under water.
Potion of Fire Resistance- You will not take fire damage. Upgrade for more duration.
Potion of Night Vision- You can see normally at night.
Potion of Strength- Increases melee attacks by 130%. Upgrade for 260%.
Potion of Invisibility- You become invisible. Your armor does not become invisible neither does arrows that hit you.
Negative Potions
Potion of Poison- Causes up to 18 hearts of damage over time. Upgrade for 48 hearts.
Potion of Weakness- reduces melee damage by 50%
Potion of Slowness-Slows players and mobs by 15% upgrade for 30%.
Potion of Harming- Damages 3 hearts instantly. Upgrade for 6 hearts.
Now for how to make these potions
*NOTE ALL OF THESE POTIONS NEED NETHER WART FIRST THEN YOU ADD THE INGREDIENT WHILE IT IS AN AWKWARD POTION.
How to make Positive Potions
Potion of Swiftness- Add Sugar to Awkward Potions.
Potion of Healing- Add a Glistering Melon to an Awkward Potion.
Potion of Regeneration- Add a Ghast Tear to Awkward Potion.
Potion of Water Breathing- Add a Puffer Fish to an Awkward Potion.
Potion of Fire Resistance- Add Magma Cream to an Awkward Potion.
Potion of Night Vision- Add a Golden Carrot to an Awkward Potion.
Potion of Strength- Add Blaze Powder to an Awkward Potion.
Potion of Invisibility- Add a Fermented Spider Eye to a potion of Night vision.
How to make Negative Potions
Potion of Poison- Add a Spider Eye to an Awkward Potion.
Potion of Weakness- Add a Fermented Spider Eye to an Awkward, Mundane, or Thick Potion.
Potion of Slowness- Add either Magma Cream and a Fermented Spider Eye or Sugar and a Fermented Spider Eye.
Potion of Harming- Add either a Glistering Melon and a Fermented Spider Eye or a Spider Eye and a Fermented Spider Eye.
How to make a brewing stand- Put 3 pieces of Cobblestone on the bottom row and put a Blaze Rod in the middle of the Crafting Table.
