In this Chapter of my guide I will be talking about just basically all the axes and wood so yeah probably going to be a shorter chapter so sorry! :3
The Axes
Wood Axe- 60 uses 1.5 seconds on a Wood Log.
Stone Axe- 132 uses 0.75 seconds on a Wood Log.
Iron Axe- 251 uses 0.5 seconds on a Wood Log.
Diamond Axe- 1562 uses 0.4 seconds on a Wood Log.
Golden Axe- 33 uses 0.25 seconds on a Wood Log.
The Wood
Oak Wood- Can be found in forests, swamps, jungles, and extreme hills.
Spruce Wood- Can be found in regular taigas, mega taigas, snowy taigas, ice plains, and extreme hills.
Birch Wood- Can be found in Forests and Birch Forests.
Jungle Wood- Can only be found in jungles.
Acacia Wood- Can only be found in savannas.
Dark Oak Wood- Can only be found in roofed forests.
How to make an Axe
You put 3 Wood Planks in the top left corner in an upside down L shape. Then you put 2 sticks in the middle column under the Wood Plank.
Now I will go through all the crafting recipes with wood and the amount of wood planks you will need.
Boat- 5 Wood Planks
Bowl- 3 Wood Planks
Button- 1 Wood Planks
Charcoal- One Wood Log and One Wood Plank in a furnace
Chest- 8 Wood Planks
Crafting Table- 4 Wood Planks
Daylight Sensor- 3 Wood Slabs, 3 Nether Quartz, and 3 glass
Door- 6 Wood Planks
Fence- 6 Sticks
Fence Gate 2 Wood Planks and 4 Sticks
Juke Box- 8 Wood Planks and a Diamond
Ladder- 7 Sticks
Note Block- 8 Wood Planks and a Redstone
Wood Planks- 1 Wood Log
Sign- 6 Wood Planks and 1 Stick
Stick- 2 Wood Planks
Torch- 1 Stick and 1 Coal/Charcoal
Trapped Chest- 1 Chest and a Tripwire Hook
Tripwire Hook- 1 Wood Plank, 1 Stick, and 1 Iron Ingot
Wooden Trapdoor- 6 Wood Planks
Wooden Axe- ^
Wooden Hoe- 2 Sticks and 2 Wood Planks
Wooden Pickaxe- 2 Sticks and 3 Wood Planks
Wooden Pressure Plate- 2 Wood Planks
Wooden Shovel- 2 Sticks and 1 Wood Plank
Wooden Slab- 3 Wood Planks
Wooden Stairs- 6 Wood Planks
Wooden Sword- 1 Stick and 2 Wood Planks
*NOTE AXES DO HALF A HEART LESS DAMAGE THAN SWORDS!
*NOTE AXES BREAK ARMOR FASTER!
