Have Children

You smiled reading glancing away from your book as you saw Arthursitting with your daughter for her daily piano lesson. Arthur waspretty proficent at the piano and for about half an hour a day wouldteach little Alice how to play.

Alice had Arthur's bright emerald green eyes and his shaggy hair,which she prefered to keep long and in a ponytail, but it was thesame (hair color) as your hair. She had Arthur's complexion but hertail wasn't green, instead it was (favioret color). Arthur hadexplained that tail colors could come from either parent in theirfamily line, and just because you were a human who had no nagas inyour family tree, that you knew of, dind't mean that you didn't havecolors that matched up to your family. You could see the human partsbecause even though Arthur had a few scales along his shoulders, uphis back and around his eyes, Alice's top half was completely human.She also had your eyebrows, luckily for her.

After six months you had given birth to a tealish green egg, Youcould feel her curling around and you touched the egg like it wasmade of the most fragile glass ever spun, and you were veryprotective. As she hatched out it had been the most beautiful thing.And since you had already birthed the egg you could for yourselfwitness her being born fully.

Alice was a rambunctious girl loving to run around, she also enjoyedbaking which you taguther her to do. She loved to watch your(crochet/knit) which was a hobby you picked up when you began to tryto get pregnant and still kept up. After Alice was born you andArthur talked about having other children and decided to take a'don't take any precautions but don't try to encourage it; if ithappens, it happens' and it didn't happen.

You didn't mind, you were happy with any children, and honestly Alicewas enough to handle on her own. She did enjoy playing piano with herda, or when her mum would play dolls with her. She especially lovedlearning to sew which you were teaching her, starting by making herdolls and clothing for the dolls. You also made teddy bears which youwould donate to the hospital for children. She loved most was whenyou two would tuck her in and read her a bedtime story before tellingher goodnight.

She loved when her uncles would visit her, and she had made her ownfriends through several other species, including humans. You had alsocome into your own having several friends at work and a few friendswho you would go shopping with, or make play dates for their childrenand Alice while you and the mother talked.

You never imagined when you were a child being married to a naga andhaving a half human, half snake daughter. However it was what youwould have wished for if you knew how. The amount of love in thislittle cabin was filled to the brim.

And that's the kind of heaven on Earth you were searching for.

I know this isshort but I didn't want to bog it down with unneccissary length. Alsowhenever I read a reader-insert and there are things like (girl'sname 1) or (boy's name 2) or whatever it throws me off and makes ithard for me to keep everyhting straight in my mind.
