Bythos POV

I held Aiden behind me and watched the man that was standing in front of us. Hale really needed to beef up his security, especially if anybody can just walk in here. The man was standing there with disgust evident on his face. I felt Aiden tighten his grip on me and I knew that he was genuinely afraid of this man and I didn't appreciate that. What had he done to him that he was so afraid of his own father?

"Aiden get over here now. We need to talk and we're leaving right now!"

Aiden flinched as soon as he heard his name roll off the man's lips. He pressed his cheek to my back and his grip on my hand tightened even more. There was no way that I was letting him leave with that man and I knew Aphros felt the same way. He stood in front of me and Aiden with a determined look on his face.

"Unfortunately for you sir this is a private party and you were most definitely not invited. I advise that you return from wherever it was that you came from and stop harassing our boyfriend."

I had to give it to Aphros because if I had to be the one talking I wouldn't actually be talking if you catch my meaning. There was something about this man that caused Aiden to cower behind me like a scared puppy. I would have to find out later what that was all about, but for now all I wanted was for him to be safe.

"I wasn't talking to you...I was talking to that massive disappointment standing behind you," he stared directly at Aiden and continued "Your mother and I have been looking for you for a while now and when we finally find you this is how I'm treated. YOU'RE A DISGRACE!! You should be grateful we want you back!"
