Betrayal

"Damn! I didn't think you could get mad!" Black chuckles darkly.
You look up at him, your eyes glowing light blue.

"I'm just getting warmed up...." You growl as you bite Black Hat's hand. You snicker as you run away. A frustrated growl comes from Black Hat, who is approaching quickly behind you.

"ENOUGH GAMES!" He yells, grabbing you by the tail again and teleporting you back to the lab.

"FLUG! Get out here NOW!" Black Hat yells, causing the sound of fluttering papers and a loud 'thump' to be heard. Flug rushes out, rubbing his head and stands in front of Black Hat, noticing that you are being held by your tail, which you despise.

"Y-yes sir?"

"Is it ready yet?"

"Y-yes s-sir! This cell resembles a prison cell." Flug explains as he walks with Black and you being held by tail tip.

"It's supposed to nullify the powers of anyone, including heroes of any kind!"

"Does it work on little kitties who like to bite?" Black says, holding you up. Flug flashes an upset look at you quickly, then looks at Black.

"Y-yes sir!"

"Brilliant! We can test it now!" Black Hat smirks, throwing you into it. Flug closes the cell door, wincing sadly as the door makes a sharp 'clang!'. You run to the door and watch in shock as Flug pulls a lever and presses a few buttons and dials.

"FLUG! NO!" You yell in fear.

"Shut up you imbecile!" Black hisses at you and forcefully bangs on the cell door.

You stick your tongue out at Black, who swats at you with his sleek claws. He manages to get most of the right side of your face; a clean slash over but not on your right eye and three clean claw marks on your cheek, leaving you lucky to still be able to see through that eye. Blood and some weird black liquid runs down your face, making you shriek and cry in pure pain. Black threatened you saying next time you stick your tongue out at him, he will make sure he doesn't miss. You felt the cage charging up energy, and began to panic. You attempted to shape shift into a cat to slip between the bars, but to no avail did it work. Black Hat laughed and left the room after patting Flug on the back. After Black left, Flug walks over to the cell door.

"(Y/n), I'm s-sorry-"

"Leave your sorries for the trash bin Flug..." you cut him off, sniffling.

"I trusted you from the start...."

"Miss, please!" Flug pleaded

"I should've known who the evil one from the start was...I don't feel it's Black...." you trailed off, and Flug leaves without speaking to go to his room. Your heart necklace grows a little black with being hurt by a trusted friend. The necklace then stops, and the black growth stays where it is. This causes you to wince and groan in pain, but quiet enough so that you can't be heard.

"If this keeps up....I won't be able to survive long...." you say to yourself. "At least not in this form...."

You place your hands around the iron bars of the cell door, feeling like you had something in common with it. The door was cold and caused shivers to run up your spine. Your soul was turning cold and soon will make you glitch all the time. You don't bother to wipe the blood from your eye, cheek, or where it dripped down to your neck.

Flug comes back with food for you, which you eat silently. You nod after you finish eating, and Flug leaves. He comes back with a water bottle, which you guzzle down in seconds. You begin to question if there was something in your water, and fall asleep. You wake up at 1:00 am and look outside of the cell. You make another attempt to shape shift again, and it works. You change back and read the note on the cell door.

Dear Miss (y/n),

I turned off the machine just in case you woke up hungry. Although the doors to my lab are locked, I left some food for you in my mini fridge in the other room. I'm sorry for betraying you earlier today, and I'm hoping this can make up for it. I'll have to leave the machine on during the day, but at night I'll turn it off.

"Heh...thanks Fluggy..." you say to yourself, feeling bad about earlier. You shape shift into a cat and get out of the cell, then change into a human. You sneak into Flug's room and open the mini fridge, eat all the food he had for you, and are about to leave the room when you think about something.
"I wonder what Flug looks like without his paper bag on...."
You reach for his paper bag and grin as you lay your hand on it successfully without waking him. "Hehe!" You quickly rip the bag off of Flug and gasp.
"Fuck!" You almost yell.
Flug had another bag over his head, after the one you had pulled off. You took the one you took off and put it on your head. Next, you stole some of Flug's clothes and dressed up in them. You leave the room, smirking slightly, hopeful this will work.
