No Hope

A shiver ran down your spine. Drops of Black Hat's blood landed on your face and dropped on the floor. Black collapsed, his back bleeding horrifically from the giant wound in his back. This feels like déjà vu. You compare the same event to the past where Cross was killed mercilessly. You run over to where Black lies and slide on your knees.

"B-BLACK!" You yell in fear, hoping for a response.

"(Y-y/n)-" he starts, which causes his back to gush blood.

You quickly silence him by placing a finger on his lips, making a blush spread ever so lightly across his cheeks. Not wanting to tease him at the moment, you think quickly and pick him up bridal style and place him in front of the hole that was blown into the wall before the standoff. You notice that Flug and 5.0.5 were nowhere to be seen.

"I have to help him somehow..."  You think to yourself.

An idea pops into your head, and without hesitation you put it to action. You begin to remove all of your bandages, wincing in pain as it irritated the wounds and caused them to gush blood again. You then wrap them around Black, making sure that they cover the laceration across his back. His wound stops bleeding as much, while yours pour blood.

"But (y/n)! You need those! Why are you giving them to me when you need them more?" Black stated, seeming less irritated than usual.

"Well, Blacky, I'll be honest with you. You are worth sacrificing my own life." You say, turning you back and looking at Riley. You immediately jut forward at her, landing a hit on her stomach; you unsheathe your claws, causing them to dig into her. You twist your arm around, tears burning in your eyes as Riley's blood poured out. Her face contorted in pain, but she was able to pull away from you.

"Are you done yet? Or are you gunna run away again?" You snicker, hiding your pain.

"I'm just getting warmed up you little rat!" She spits, suddenly summoning a giant green shield around herself.

She then puts it down, looking completely healed. You freeze a bit in shock, then begin to continually scratch at Riley. Each time she puts the shield up and heals and each time you deal even worse damage on her until she finally breaks the chain. Your eyes open in fear, realizing thst there is no way to actually win the fight. She would just heal herself like a wimp. Her gaze flicks to Black, noticing him trying to stand up to help you, and she summons what seems like a shadow spear. Grinning, she throws it at him. Before you both could think, you jump in front of Black, taking the fatal hit to the chest and land on the ground beside him. (PLAY MUSIC! IT HELPS!) You look at where you where impaled and noticed that the spear was gone, but the area where you had gotten hit was turning black, quicker and quicker as the minutes ticked by. Your vision immediately began to blur, but you could make out the outline of Black's stature, seeming concerned. You placed a hand over the slash across your chest, trying to stop your unfortunate fate. Blood ran out of the forner of your mouth. You looked up ahead, taking notice of Cross' figure staring at you, a look of horror across his face while he had his hands cupped over his mouth. You couldn't hear anything, but assumed he was in a state of shock. Your eyes looked back at your body and noticed it was completely black. You began to sway, your vision blurring more, and you smiled, closing your eyes. At least if you were going to die, you died saving someone who mattered. You swayed even more, then leaned forward and fell, landing on your stomach for a second before your whole body flaked into shards of black, then fluttered up into the air, slowly dissolving.

Then, you feel nothing.
