How could I rest with all these thoughts swirling in my brain?Family.Training.Knives.Mentally unstable.Anxiety attacks. And finally a target, dancing in front of my eyes. That's what I needed.A target, something to focus all of this anger on.Something to tear apart, without hurting anybody else.I quickly put on my uniform and boots, without even bothering to take the map with me.Doesn't matter.I'll find my way, eventually.

And I do,after fifteen minutes of pointless wandering and checking for guards, all of this while I try to not make a sound. The training room isn't as brightly lit as it was a few hours ago so I give my eyes a little time to adjust and then I grab a knife, making it towards the nearest target.I just need to vent somehow. Before I could raise my arm,a deep voice echoes behind me.

"So this is the girl everyone's been talking about." I turned around immediately, knife still in hand, coming face to face with the boy I've noticed before.

"What do you mean?"

He didn't answer the question,he just stared at the silver blade I was grasping tightly.

"You might want to leave that down." he suggested.

"No."

The laugh that came out of his mouth was more threatening than friendly.

"You're so adorable,thinking that if I attack you,you could stand a chance."

"Who are you,anyway?"

"I think you noticed me before...During training."

"I meant your name."

"Oh.That.Alex Finster. No need to ask who you are.Your name is Alaska Something."

"Sangreregium." I growled.

"I don't care."

"Then what do you want?"

"I'm just interested to know what makes a nice girl impale someone with her dad's knife."

Another person that knows.News travel fast around here.

"The same thing that makes a nice boy rip apart a few mutants with his bare hands."

He doesn't seem annoyed that I know about him.He just continues staring at me in a way that makes me feel visibly uncomfortable.

"Maybe the boy isn't a nice person."

"Maybe the girl isn't nice either." I concluded. As he started advancing towards me,my grip around the knife tightened. He threw it away with a swift motion of his hand.

"WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?" I screamed. His hands immediately locked at my shoulders.I tried to fight him off but failed. His face was a few inches away from mine.

"You know, you are not supposed to yell at people with anger management issues." were his last words before releasing me from his firm grip.I wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible.

"See you tomorrow!" he shouted happily as I opened the door. The knife I was holding a few moments ago, landed right next to my head.

"And watch your back!" he continued as I started running through the hallways and then locked myself in my bedroom.

I stayed awake all night, wondering if the real monsters were inside those walls instead of out.
