Winner (Mino)

     You and Mino have always been friends, but lately, it seems that he's avoiding you. He doesn't go to lunch with you anymore, he doesn't talk to you, text you, call you... he's completely avoiding any contact with you.

     One day, while you were walking home, you felt like there was someone following you. You looked back to see if there really was someone following you, but you didn't see anyone. When you turned to walk again, someone grabbed your arms and covered your mouth so you couldn't scream for help. You felt yourself weaken until everything went black.

     You woke up in an abandoned hospital. There's no light in the room, but you were sure that there's someone in there with you ~ you heard rustling at the other end of the room.

"Wh-who are you? Wh-why did you t-take me here?" you asked, trembling with fear. Nobody answered. "What do you want from me?!" you asked louder. You almost sounded brave, but your voice faltered at the last word. You were shaking. You didn't know what was going to happen, who took you, what they're going to do to you, and what they want from you.

     A tall man stepped out of the shadows and kneeled in front of you. He held your face and stared into your eyes. 'Those eyes! It couldn't be,' you thought. You remembered the time that you were kidnapped eight years ago. Although your fear was gone, it's slowly coming back now upon seeing this man.

"Don't worry, (Y/N). I only want your boyfriend," he said in a low voice. His voice was scary. It sounded like it could've come from a demon.

"What boyfriend?" you asked, confused.

"There's no use denying it. I know you're Mino's girlfriend," he said. You were actually surprised by what you heard. You've never expected anyone to think that you two have something going on. It really doesn't help either that he's been avoiding you for quite some time now.

"I'm not his girlfriend," you said calmly.

"Oh? And what are you to him?" he asked.

"I'm just his friend," you told him, your fear slowly getting replaced by irritation at the man's questions and tone.

"You almost got me there," he laughed. He whipped out his phone and called someone.

"What do you want?!" you heard Mino's voice from the other line.

"Tell your boyfriend where you are," the man said as he put the phone right in front of you.

"Mino, help me! I'm in an abandoned hospital in the outskirts of town!" You were desperate. You screamed at the top of your lungs until two other men went inside the room and put a cloth on your mouth to shut you up. You couldn't fight back since you were tied up so all you could do was pray and hope for the best. Tears were flowing freely from your eyes.

"(Y/N)!" you heard Mino from the other line shouting your name. "You SONOFABITCH! If you even touch her, I'll kill you!!" The line went dead. After that phone call, the three men went out of the room and locked you in. You were left alone in the dark. You didn't know what else to do.

     After what felt like hours, the three men opened the door and went inside. The two other men removed your binds and pulled you up. Their grip was so tight that you were sure it was going to bruise tommorow~ if there will still be tommorow for you.

"Mino," you whispered. You felt like you were hallucinating. You couldn't believe that he was actually here to rescue you ~ to save you from death.

"It's me you want. Let her go!" Mino said furiously.

"Yeah, and she's going to watch you suffer," said the man you met first.

     They began beating up Mino while he tries his best to fight back. What they didn't know was that Mino had a back-up plan. He called the police and told them about what happened, before he came to the abandoned hospital. After a while, the police came and arrested the men who kidnapped you. When you were freed, you ran to Mino and hugged him tight. You didn't know what you'd do if something worse happened to him. You wouldn't be able to forgive yourself...

     A few months went by after that incident and ever since then, Mino became more protective over you. He wanted to be by your side every moment he could. You are grateful for this, but sometimes you just couldn't stand his over protective side. He wouldn't even let you go anywhere without him! And he wouldn't let any guy near you.

"I know you want to protect me. But this is too much, Mino! I want to go out with my other friends but it's like you're keeping me all to yourself. Do you know how they feel? How I feel?!" you told him, being fed up by all this.

"So maybe I don't know how neither of you feel. But you're just as dense as I am or probably even more. Can't you see why I'm doing this?!" he shouted at you.

"Nobody told you to do this!"

"But I wanted to because I love you!" he shouted out of frustration. He started walking away, but you still stood there on the same spot. When his words seemed to have sunk in, you ran after him and hugged him from the back.

"I love you, too," you whispered to him.

     Another few months went by, but this time, he was courting you. He did everything to show you and make you feel his sincerity.

"(Y/N), there's someone looking for you," your girl best friend said before dragging you out of your classroom and into the open field.

Once you were in front of the stage, you saw Mino onstage and he did a cute performance for you. After that, he came down from the stage and walked towards you, holding a bouquet of pink roses in his hands.

When he was in front of you, he kneeled down and asked, "Will you be my girl?" while holding up the bouquet of pink roses.

You took the bouquet and smiled down at him before saying "yes".
