Winner (Seungyoon)

     For as long as you've known the two, you've always had a crush on Jinwoo and had a deep hatred for Seungyoon. And when you entered college, your feelings got even deeper. One day, you and Jinwoo started dating and because of that, you realized that the basketball captain Seungyoon is so far away from the Seungyoon you have now come to know. Days passed and you began spending more time with Seungyoon. At first it was because of Jinwoo's insistence, but as time went by, you've managed to form a friendship with Seungyoon.

Seungyoon: (Y/N))! What are you going to do this afternoon?

You: Uhh... Nothing, I guess. Why'd you ask?

Seungyoon: Oh, nothing. *smiles awkwardly* I need to go now, bye!

That was... odd. Even for Seungyoon.

     All night, you kept thinking why he asked that but came up with absolutely no answer. Was he going to ask you out or something? Did Jinwoo tell him to ask you that?

     The next morning, Seungyoon was nowhere to be found. When you asked Jinwoo where Seungyoon is, he told you that he didn't know.

     After a few more days of not seeing Seungyoon, you realized that you've really become attached to him... and that you're inlove with him. No wonder you don't care about Jinwoo as much anymore. Everytime Seungyoon fools around and tells you he likes you, you'd feel like there are thousands of butterflies in your stomach and your heart would skip a beat. But with Jinwoo.. you feel nothing anymore. It's like everything that Seungyoon says or do is important to you, now -- like their roles are switched.

     After two weeks of not seeing Seungyoon, you finally found him in the library.

You: Hey Seungyoon! *grabs a chair and sits next to him*

Seungyoon: What are you doing here? *speaks without even bothering to look up*

You: Looking for you...

Seungyoon: Why?

You: Because I haven't seen you lately and I miss you.

Seungyoon: Why aren't you with Jinwoo? *asks, expressionless*

You: He already went home...

Seungyoon: So why are you still here?

You: I told you already *speaks, slightly getting irritated by the sudden attitude*

Seungyoon: You should go home before it gets late.

You: I'm not going home until you tell me what's wrong. *you said stubbornly* Are you mad at me? Are you trying to avoid me? Is that why I haven't seen you lately, huh? Answer me!

Seungyoon: *glares at you* Shut up, okay. *he said, then stood up and walked out of the library*

You followed Seungyoon outside and grabbed his arm when you caught up to him.

You: What's your problem?! Why are you like this to me?!

Seungyoon: My problem? YOU! You're my problem! Ever since you started dating Jinwoo, he's all you ever talk about. Have you ever considered how I'd feel about that?!

You were speechless. You din't know what to say.

Seungyoon: I like you, okay?! I really, really like you, (Y/N). Everytime I told you I like you, I meant it. I made it seem like a joke, but everytime I said that, I actually meant it.

You: But...

Seungyoon: I didn't tell you about it before because I knew you like Jinwoo and I lost all the reason to confess when you two started dating each other. Two weeks ago, I told Jinwoo how I felt for you and he told me that you were already his girlfriend so I backed off. I kept avoiding you hoping that I'd get over my feelings, but I can't...

You: But Jinwoo and I... We aren't together. I'm not his girlfriend.

Seungyoon looked shocked by what you said. Surely, he didn't expect his bestfriend to lie to him like that.

Seungyoon: If you're not his girlfriend... Can you be mine, instead? *asks bashfully, looking down on the floor*

You: Of course. I'd love to be your girlfriend *answers with a sweet smile on your face*

Upon hearing your answer, Seungyoon's face lit up and before you could even say anything else, he kissed you and told you how much he loves you.
