It was your last class of the day...
You walked into your classroom and sat at the back in the corner.
"Aye, look who it is. Little miss loner," one of the girls sniggered as a group of them walked through the doors. You bowed your head and faced the desk. You had a nice group of friends at your university but none of them were in this class so you were known as the 'loner' in this class. You sat staring out of the window for most of the class. Suddenly, the end-of-the-day bell rang. You immediately got up and collected all your books and folders in your arms. You made your way through the corridors with the group of girls right behind you, still whispering and sniggering.
"I bet Loner here is going home alone. She'll never get a boyfriend," one of them said as you all got out of the school building and into the car park.
"Jayeon-ah!" Sungjae shouted, leaning on his black Audi. You smiled and ran over to him. The group of girls from your last class stood there in shock with their mouths wide open. They couldn't believe what they were seeing. Sungjae walked towards you and cupped your face in his hands, kissing you gently on your lips. He went around the other side of his car and opened the passenger's door for you.
"Had a good day?" he asked.
You nodded even though it wasn't really a good day what with those girls always saying things about you.
"What are they staring at?" he asked, looking at the group of girls who were giving you dirty looks.
"Just leave it," you told him and got in the passenger side of the car.
He closed the door behind you and got back into the driver's seat. He waved sarcastically to the group of girls before speeding off out of the car park.
"Are they mean to you?" he asked you as he drove down the road.
You didn't say anything. You didn't want to lie, but you didn't want to tell him the truth either.
"Just ignore them. I love you and that's all that matters, okay?" Sungjae told you as he held your hand.
