Chapter Seven: Wedding Dresses.
"Hello, my gorgeous girl." I heard Luke's voice coming from behind me as I turned around to face him and I stared into his dreamy eyes.
"Hey, my handsome guy." I blushed. Gosh, I liked him so much.
We were currently at a mini cafe downtown as we decided to meet up and yes I was being really careful not been seen around by people knew. Luke made sure of that. We found ourselves a table and ordered two coffees.
"So, have you thought on what you're going to do about this Nathan guy?" Luke asked curiously.
That happy moment had gone when the thought of getting married hit my mind once again. "Um, I really don't know." I reached for his hand that was sitting on the table and I held onto it. It felt so warm.
"I'm really sorry, Luke. I am trying." I reassured him.
"Don't be sorry." He squeezed my hand back and he smiled. That made my heart melt.
I heard my cell phone ring and I checked the caller ID.It was from Nora. I let go of his warm, soft hand and I excused myself and answered it. "Hey, is everything okay?" I asked, worried.
"Well, Nicole and mom want to go wedding dress shopping." I stared blankly straight to wear Luke was sitting and he gave me a concerned look.
"Are you kidding me?" I nearly yelled. I obviously had to accept otherwise I was in deep shit but I was in deep shit no matter what I did.
"Fine, I'll meet you at home." I said and hung up. I sighed, walking back and I leaned back into my chair, getting ready to leave.
"You have to go." Luke's smile was gone and mine was gone when I got that phone call.
I nodded. "Wedding dress shopping." I said and he frowned.
His frown disappeared and he faintly smiled. "Don't worry, we'll find a way out of this. Together."
When he used the word together, I smiled like an idiot.
"Thank you, Luke." I said as I got up and he got up too and we hugged.
We said our goodbyes and I left, feeling his eye staring into me and I didn't mind.

"I like this one on you, Elizabeth." My mom said as she was fixing up the puffy white dress. Nora looked bored as she was sitting on a fancy couch with a glass of champagne.
"I don't like it." Nora stated.
"Hmm okay, try this one on." My mom handed me an even bigger white dress and I could hardly walk as it was. I was going to suffocate at how tight this was. What was she trying to do, kill me?
"You need to lose weight." Nicole stated. I rolled my eyes and headed into the changing room for the seventeenth time.
"You finally made it." I heard Nicole's voice echo the whole store. I changed once again and headed out into the store with embarrassment while mom inspected the dress. I looked up and see the familiar face of Nathan's sister, Beverly. I had only seen her once since she had a job that required traveling a lot, I didn't pay attention but I knew that I didn't like her that much.
"Elizabeth, it's been forever." Beverly yelled and she walked over to me and tried to hug me but my dress was in the way.
Thank god for The Wedding Dress.
"You too." I gave a faint smile and walked off to take the dress off and to put another dress on.
Oh, the joys.
