Chapter Nine: The Key.
I woke up, feeling tired and sore. I didn't get much sleep last night because of Nathan sleeping next to me. I got myself up and saw a note on the pillow next to mine and I read it:
Elizabeth,
Breakfast and lunch is in the kitchen, I'll be back at eight o'clock tonight. Have a great day, my love.
Nathan.
At least now I could look for a phone to call Luke. I needed to find that key to the door. I would spend all day if I had to.

"Where the heck is the key?" I screamed in anger as I was throwing the pillows off the couch. It was past lunch and I had searched everywhere. This house was a mess and I had to clean it up. I decided to take a small break and I ate what was for lunch. I prepared an omelette since I skipped breakfast.
I didn't bother to eat what Nathan had prepared for me. I saw the eggs and I stopped and stared for a while. Omelettes reminded me of Luke and the flour fight we had. The memories were too much and I broke down into tears. I fell to the ground and cried until I got a headache.
That made me more determined to find that damn key and open whatever was in that door. I ditched the omelette and made a sandwich instead. Once I ate that, I continued looking.I had officially eight hours before Nathan arrived.
I checked everything three times until I found a spot that I hadn't looked before. I checked under the bed mattress of the bedroom we slept in.
Bingo.
I found a mini key hidden under the mattress, I quickly raced downstairs to the mini door and the key fitted perfectly. I turned it slightly and it clicked. I opened it up and saw a whole lot of things. A map, Money, more keys and a phone.
But why would Nathan need those things?
I got the phone first and it was a simple old school phone.
I remembered Nora's number off by heart and I rung. "Hello." I heard her soft voice.
"Nora, it's me." I replied.
"Elizabeth, oh thank god! Are you okay?" She asked, sounding relieved.
"Forget about me, I need to call Luke." I said as fast as I could.
"Of course." She gave me the number and I wrote it down and hung up and I instantly called that number.
"Luke, it's me. I need help. I'm trapped in this house with Nathan."
"Hold up, Nathan?" He asked.
"Ugh, that's his name." I said, remembering I didn't tell him.
"Oh right. Okay, give me the address and I'll come now with Daniel."
"Thank you, you are my life saver." I heard him chuckle as I said that.
I gave him the address and I waited for him to arrive.
*
"Hey, how do you open this door?"
Crap! I totally forgot that I couldn't open the door. "Um. I don't know."
"You don't know?" Daniel asked.
"Yeah, check around the house for a spare key." I said and they did just that.
"Found it." Luke yelled and I jumped with joy. The door clicked and Luke came flying in and hugged me, lifting me in the air. "Are you okay?" He asked.
