Mysterious Summer

Gravity Falls! The wonderful town full of fun people and unsolved mysteries! You've been living here for 3 years and so far it's the only home you liked. You had two best friends, Mabel and Dipper. Of course Dipper wasn't his real name but you always called him that. So did everyone else. For each summer that the twins would stay here, you 3 would solve the mysteries brought from Dippers journal, and just make fun memories in general. This summer was going to be like any other. Until a particularly difficult dream demon had to ruin it.

~ y/n PoV ~
I practically jumped out of bed with how excited I was. Summer had finally started and today Mable and Dipper were coming back! You threw on whatever clothes you thought were clean and zipped down the many steps of your house.

"Morning honey! I-"

"Thanks Mom! Bye!" I yelled whilst grabbing an apple and shooting out the door. I felt bad. I didn't know what she was trying to say but I was too excited and couldn't wait to see my favorite twins.

My feet hopped threw the air, running as if my life depended on it. I slid into the driveway of the Mystery Shack, like I was sliding into first base on a home run.

My eyes lit up when I saw the twins sitting calmly on the porch. Well.. they were calm until Mabel started impersonating a dying wart hog.

"Y/N!!!!!!!!! OMG OMG OMG IS IT REALLY YOU!?!!" She screamed, soaring through the air. She tackled me in a bear hug as I laughed.

"Yeah it's me! Remember I need to breath Mabel" I chuckled and she released me. Still silently squealing with excitement.

I turned my gaze to Dipper who took his place next to his sister.

"Wow! Since when did you become to tallest one?" You laughed, balancing on your tippy toes to meet his gaze.

He just laughed, holding the back of his neck nervously, while a tint of rose dusted his cheeks. We all laughed together and enjoyed the first few weeks of summer with no problems. No worries. It was just perfect.

Me, Dipper, and Mabel were watching movies together at the mystery shack. Once we were all too tired to keep our eyes open we decided to move our way upstairs to sleep. Me and Mabel got into bed. Or rather she got into her bed and I cuddled up in my sleeping bag on the floor.

Dipper was the last one up since Stan made him clean up down stairs. Once he entered the room the lights were off. He squinted through the darkness, and of course as fate would have it; he tripped over waddles landing straight onto me.

I jumped at the sudden impact. Letting out a tiny squeal. I could see his eyes widen as the moonlight reflected off them. Our faces must've been really close because I could feel his frantic breath on my lips when he spoke.

"Erm.. sorry y/n! I really didn't mean to.." his voice sounded apologetic. I felt bad knowing he was super embarrassed.

"Haha it's okay. Just startled me a little" I laughed it off and that seemed to calm him down. He lifted himself up and plopped down into his bed.

I readjusted myself and slowly closed my eyes.

"Hey guys! We should totally head to the waterfall tomorrow! I heard some kids made a ledge out of driftwood where we can get an amazing view!" Mabel whisper yelled.

Dipper and I both mumbled in agreement and we all finally fell asleep.
