Astrid's P.O.V

"Astrid...."

"Astrid"

"ASTRID!"

"Wha-" I snapped back from reality, realizing I doze off again.

"Still daydreaming about Prince Charming, Astrid?." Heather was there laughing at my state right about now.

"Ha ha very funny Heather." I wiped the drool on my lower lip and proceed to tidy up my office desk. "What do you want?"

"The order gave me this" She placed a file on my desk. "They want you to have a look." She said, then sat on the chair beside the desk.

I opened the file, and all I see are pictures of the assassins and a note. I took notice on the note and read it: We need to make a move. The assassins are already ahead of us.

"Ahead of us? That's impossible." I murmured. The last time I've heard about the assassins was 15 days ago. The weapon mission, I inwardly cringed recalling of the past memory.

"Tell the order to contact Mala." I ordered. Still staring at the file.

"What for?" She asked confused.

"For a batch of her "special equipment." Heather gulped at my comment. "We can't let those assassins have at us again."

She stood up and nodded. "Yes, Grandmaster." She only calls me that when we're serious. And this, is a really serious matter.

She saluted at me, then left the room. I settled into my chair and sighed. Those assassins really do know how to rile us up.

I opened the bottom drawer and placed the file. As I was about to close it, I noticed the letter that Hiccup wrote it. I took it out and then closed the drawer.

I opened the letter for the hundredth time and began reading it:

My Dearest Astrid,

"How are you? Doing great I guess. Me? Not so much. Dad is at it again of me moving back to my old house. I gotta say he's not really good at manipulating me.

You must be worried sick right now, don't worry, I'm completely healed, and thinking it's time to come back home. Knowing you, the house is a complete mess with me gone for a long time.

I've missed you, and hoping you're well and safe. Who am I kidding you're Fearless Astrid Hofferson. Even Jack is afraid of you. Be well M'lady. Sachez que je t'aíme avec tout mon.

Sincerely Yours,
Híccup

I put back the letter to where I placed it before, and wiped away the tears. No matter what state, Hiccup really has his ways with words. I smiled.

I hope you're safe as well Babe.

Hiccup's P.O.V

"Achoo!" I suddenly sneezed.

"You okay there son?" Beside me was my father. Right now, we were walking through the halls of the Assassins Hideout.

"Yeah, I'm fine nothing to worry about." I said. It's just been yesterday since I woke up, knowing how stubborn I am I couldn't stay too long in bed.

"Okay." He said. The walk to my Father's study room was awkward and silent. When I caught sight at the door, I felt relieved.

"Well, here we are." He twisted the doorknob then we went inside. While Dad went to fetch my stuff, I looked around. It was nothing grand. At the middle of room was a table, and on top of it was a globe and a huge map. Other than that, the room was also a mess.

"I dare say Dad, looking at your study room, now I know the real reason why you want me to come home." I joked. Dad just huffed and ignored what I said. "Here, your clothes, the hidden blade." He retracted the blade. "And the phantom blade."

I grabbed my stuff, then neatly tucked them into my sling bag. "Thanks Dad, I really appreciate it." My dad cocked a brow.

"No sarcasm." Fact, I rarely thank anyone. Even my Dad, that's why he's surprise.

"Oh, well you're welcome Son, best be going now." I nodded. As we were outside of his room, I heard someone shouting my name, while running towards us.

"HICCUP!" The man gasped. He stopped for a minute catching his breath. "Hey Fishlegs, it's been a while." I said with unease.

"Yeah, h-hey." He finally regained his composure, and began to breathe normally. " The Elders wants to see you sir." Fishlegs faced my Dad as he said this.

"Hmm, Alright then, I'll leave Hiccup to you Fishlegs." He said. I groaned, Dad just really doesn't trust me that much. "Goodbye Son." I gave him a thumbs up.

He waved at us, until he's gone from our sight. "Now that's done, onto our business." Fishlegs just sighed. And gave me the supplies. "Remember Hiccup these are highly poisonous darts, be ca-."

I cut him off before he finished the sentence. "Careful, I know Fishlegs. I'm a Master Assassin, I think I know how to handle Things." I inspected one of the darts.

Fishlegs isn't a runner like me and Jack. He tends to his work indoors. Even though his not physical worthy, he's a huge help, when regarding weaponry. And I really thank him for that.

I placed back the dart inside its box and hide it in my bag. "Thanks Fishlegs, you're really a great friend." I smiled at Fishlegs, while he smiled back. "Happy to Help Hiccup."

"Well I love to stay and chat, but I really best be going right about now." I patted him at the shoulder, then went on my way. "Bye Fishlegs." I shouted while running.

"Yeah, Bye." Then I was gone.

Hiccup's P.O.V

Not long from my journey, I reached the house, but before that I went to to one of the nearest hideouts to left my things taken care of.

I went inside the house. Expecting a blonde woman yelling at me. Instead I got some silence. "Strange." I said to myself.

I searched through the house hoping she was here, but no luck. I went to our bedroom, to lay down, and stuck staring at the ceiling. Thinking of where she might could be wouldn't fix anything. So I moved past that and just went to sleep. As long as I'm finally home and where I'm supposed to be.
