Is this love? (Vampire Knight x Reader)

"I choose--" 

Before I could respond, Rido pulls the front door open, wraps an arm around my waist, and pulls me close to him, 

"Excuse us." 

He said before slamming the door and running with incredible speed--even for a vampire--into the forest behind the Moon Dorm, past the lake, through another small forest, jumps over a wall, and finally comes to a stop at a large tree. He set me down and made a small symbol on the tree before it opens into an entryway. He took my hand and led me down a set of spiral stairs into a beautiful main hall similar to the Moon Dorm. I turned to him in confusion, 

"Why did you bring me here?" 

I asked him, not quite following what was going on. He smirked at me,  

"Well I couldn't let those boys have you, could I?" 

"What do you mean?" 

I asked, still not following. He sighed, 

"Y/N...I love you. I've always loved you ever since the night I first saw you. I want nothing more than to be with you. Explore the world with you. Love you with my whole heart until eternity stops." 

He held my hand and squeezed it as he looked into my eyes, 

"So... what'd ya say?" 

I smiled and squeezed his hand back,

"I say it took you long enough to tell me how you feel. I love you too Rido Kuran."

He smiled and laughed happily as he held me close to him, kissing my forehead sweetly,  

"You have no idea how long I've been waiting to hear you say that. Will you stay here with me? Live with me?"

I giggled and nodded, 

"Of course I will. I'll just have to sneak back and get my stuff."

Rido laughed quietly before responding, 

"Come with me."

He took my hand and led me down a long hallway to a large dark oak door and opened it. I looked around and giggled when I saw he had already moved all of my things from the Moon Dorm to my new room. I turned to him and saw the awkward smile on his face, 

"Well I knew you'd never love them. You have far too much taste." 

I giggled and kissed him, 

"Thank you, Rido."

He smiled lovingly at me, 

"Anything for you, my love."

He then led me over to the large, fluffy bed in the upper left corner of the room. He laid down on it and held me close as I snuggled up to him. We stayed like that all night, talking about anything and everything until we fell asleep in each other's arms and our new home.
