Where is she - chapter 16

              I'm at Walmart now. When my dad got home he said I could keep the dog just keep it in my room, and I must use my own allowance to get food for him. But since I have no money he gave me 50 dollars to get pet stuff. Well I technically had money but I didn't tell him. The emergency moneys for after Walmart.
At Walmart I get a white food dish and white water dish, since her stuff will be in my room I want to make it match my decor. Then I get a black dog bed and a black mat to put under the food and water dishes. Since Juno is black Juno will get black fur on my white blankets, I get a big black blanket so if she gets on my bed she can lay on that. I also get a leash, treats, a bag of dog food, and two toys. She already has a collar so I get a new tag so I can put my address and number on it.
After Walmart I walk home so I can put this up, I don't want to walk around town with bags. When I get home I walk up to my room and Juno greets me at my door. I sit down and bring out a toy and play tug of war.
I go to the bottom shelf on my bedside table and put the chew toys and treats on the shelf. Then I go to the open floor by my dresser and put down the mat, then I put the bowls on the mats. I put the dog food beside the bowls and fill one bowl with food. I fill the water dish up with a bottle from my night stand. I put the leash with the chew toys and then put the collar tag where the old one used to be. I put his dog bed by my door in front of my bed and spread the black blanket over my bed. I pet Juno and tell her I'll be back soon.
It's 5:00 pm but I ask my dad if I can go out, I tell him I'll only be out an hour and a half. He says I can and gives me money to pick up dinner. As I walk out the house I look at V's old room, they just put her in the ground and they already are cleaning it her room. I hope it doesn't hurt V to much when I find her.
After a half hour of walking I'm in the bad part of town. I half walk half run to a black door and walk into the tattoo parlor. I bring out the fake ID V made me and the amount of money she had to pay to get her tattoo.The tattoo guy I get is the same one V got. This brings up so many memories.
"Hey kid. What's ya wanna get today?" The guy ask, he slurs his words an it on account of missing a few teeth.
"Um.... how bout this?" I say showing him the picture of V's tattoo. " I want it under my right arm." Pointing to the place V got hers.
"Aright. Wait now I rememba ya. Ya came here with ya friend that day. Ya finally decided to get one aye?" He ask.
"Uh yeah" I respond sadly.
"Why didn't y'all come together? Ya could've gotten it earlier today when she came." He ask while wiping the spot of my upper rib where he's about to start inking.
"Um I'm sorry I think your mistaken she um....is out of town." I say nervously. "Are you sure?" I ask.
"Pretty sure. She was with some man. Said he was her dad. She got 2-16-17 and her name over it Veronica Seis Edison. Was the date a birthday or important date or something?" He asked.
" It is actually." I say pulling out my phone I show him a picture of V and her father from Instagram. "Your sure it was her?" I ask.
"That's her. Except that wasn't the man." He answered. "And....your....done." He said.
"Wow that didn't hurt that bad thanks." And with that I leave.
Why would V be here I knew she wasn't dead. But she was here with a man saying it was her dad. That must be some one who kidnapped her! I sit on the bench outside of the tattoo parlor and think. So someone who kidnapped her got her a tattoo. So the person who kidnapped her must have made it looked like she died, so no one would look for her! Why the tattoo it was of the day she went missing, must be some kind of brand. That's sick! But Seis isn't her middle name. I pull my phone out to look it up when I hear a truck start up.
I look over my shoulder and see a man getting in a white van. Just in case I quickly took a picture of him. As he pulled away I saw a girls face pushed to the widow screaming. I pieced together the piercing green eyes. Small nose, skinny face, and dirty blond hair on top of her hair. She looks much different under fed and dirty but I'd know her any where it's V.
