Rebecca's POV

The bell rang rather quickly today. It might be because I got up late but not that late to miss the first period. I entered my class and took my seat which was next to Ariel. She was giving me the silent treatment and I sure did deserve it but I didn't like this dumb treatment so I spoke, "Hey Ariel!"

Then the silent volcano erupted and let me add, with great force.

"Don't 'hey Ariel' me! Just because you got a boyfriend doesn't mean you leave your friends alone. It doesn't mean you shut us down!"

"I know it was completely my fault but don't shout it to the world that I have a boyfriend! I am a really bad friend but I promise you that I won't shut our friendship down. It's just that these past few days here have been damn emotional for me. I'm sorry."

She realised my apology was real, but then her expression changed into something I couldn't understand. "Wait a minute...you guys are actually in a relationship?!"

Oh, shit! I wanted to tell that to her in a more subtle way.

"Um...y-yes. He asked me to be his girlfriend yesterday."

"Okay girl. I need all details right here, right now."

I was about to tell her but like on cue our teacher walked into the class. I faced Ariel and she mouthed lunch break to me. The class was pretty boring today and I don't know why. My next class was with Ethan. Yeah, yeah, even I know I'm blushing.

Ethan's POV

My parents came to know about my relationship with Rebecca. I expected them to scream at me or something close to that, but surprisingly they were all excited to meet her. Now I have to tell her this and I hope she doesn't creep out.

I reached school and the first period passed in a blur. My second period was with Becca so I decided to tell her that my parents wanted to meet her. I entered my class and saw her sitting in her seat. I went to her to drop the family meeting bomb on her. 

"Hey birdie, listen. I wanted to ask you something. "

She took in my nervous and embarrassed emotions and knew it was something important. "Yeah, go on. "

"My, um..., parents want to meet you."

I saw the color on her face drain so I immediately added, ".. only if you want to come."

She still didn't reply. God! Couldn't I be more subtle. 

"Becca, say something!"

"Um...are you sure that your parents will like me or um...want to meet me?"

"Don't worry birdie. I'll be there with you the whole time, and yes, they will like you. In fact, they will love you. Believe me. "

"Okay fine then. Tell me when and I'll be ready. "

That sure did put up a huge smile on my face.
