  February 2018

|| Marabelle ||

The next couple of weeks flew by. Christmas happened, New Years happened, school was as busy as ever and the girls and I have been competing in competitions a lot. So needless to say, I've barley had anytime to sort my life out.

The mid February air was warm but breezy as I walked out of Dominos holding an extra large cheese, bacon and avocado pizza. Its just me, myself and I tonight because Mallory's out with Scott and is planning to stay the night at his place.

As I drove back to my apartment, I couldn't help but think about how I've been feeling lately. Quite honestly, the only word that comes to mind is lonely. Yes, I am lonely as fuck.

Since Scott and Mal are dating, they spend almost every waking moment with each other. And now Freddie's dating Delilah which means they spend nearly every second together. Sure I have other friends I can hangout with but its just never the same as hanging out with my usual friends.

Once I had gotten home, I changed into a pair of comfy Victoria's Secret shorts and a crop top before settling in the lounge to watch Keeping Up With The Kardashians and eat my pizza.

Half-way through the episode I was watching, I was tempted to text Freddie to see if he wanted to hangout, but disappointment swept through me as I realised that he would probably be with Delilah. Something about her meeting his parents or something.

They've been dating all of two minutes and she's already meeting his parents? Good god.

I groaned as I realised that my stupid inner bitch was being all jealous again. It happens a lot whenever I think about their relationship.

Hearing my phone ring, I snapped out of my thoughts and grabbed the Iphone device off the coffee table. I smiled a little as my brother's caller ID popped up on the screen. I haven't spoken to Evan since January.

"Hey, big brother," I greeted.

"Hey, baby sister," He responded. "How're you doing?"

"I'm doing okay. School's crazy. I've got midterms just around the corner and the Boston City Ballet Benefit wants the girls and I to dance at their gala next week," I told him.

"Really? That's incredible! Congrats, baby sis," He said.

"Thanks, Ev. And you? How've things been. Pia still driving you crazy with wedding planning?"

"Um..." He trailed off and I could heard him audibly swallow the lump in his throat.

"Evan?"

"Well uh..." He stopped with a sigh. "The weddings off."

"What? Why?" I questioned, genuinely shocked by this bit of information.

"I ended things with Pia," He told me, his voice wavering as he spoke.

"What?!" Now I was super shocked. A little happy with the news but still shocked. "What the hell happened?"

"She wasn't -" He stopped with a sigh.

"Evan, what did she do?" I asked a little sternly.

"She wasn't as faithful to me as I thought she was," He told me bitterly.

"She fucking cheated on you?!" Now I was just straight up pissed off. How fucking dare she?!

"She's been seeing him for nearly six months," He told me.
