"Audrey you ready? I have to pick her up!" Noah sighed looking at Audrey fixing her hair in the mirror.
"Yeah, just getting ready to be the third wheel all day." She sighed getting into the car. They drove in silence as Noah was trying to think of the events that will happen today, and Audrey trying to calm her anger at seeing you two together.
"I know you like her." Noah stopped at a red light turning his head towards her.
"What? How? I'm so sorry Noah." Anyone could clearly see how stressed she was getting.
"No no, You know she likes you too. This is so stupid. But I can clearly see that she likes you more than me, which is fine since you know my feelings for Zoe." Noah explains.
"So, today you invited me to get closer to her?" Audrey tried to process everything.
"Yeah, and Zoey is meeting us there." They drove to your house and picked you up driving to the lake seeing Zoe smiling and waving.
After an hour of swimming you asked Noah to go and talk on shore as Zoe and Audrey stayed in the water.
"I know how you like Zoe and I know how you know that I like Audrey so maybe, we should stay friends and go for the people we love." You two smiled at each other and walked back into the water. Audrey would sneak glances at you laughing and splashing everyone until she joined in. Everyone was laughing and splashing each other when they all chose it was time to get out. As they were drying up you put a pair of shorts on and then turned to Audrey.
"Wanna go for a walk?" You asked.
"Sure!" She smiled and you two started walking side by side.
"You know, Noah told me how you feel about me a few days ago." You said looking down at your hands waiting for her anger.
"I know, he told me you have the same feelings." She stated smiling, you whipped your head up feeling your cheeks starting to blush.
"Oh, uhm, uh, yeah." You laughed a nervous laugh.
"Audrey stopped in her tracks grabbed your hand and turned you to look at her.
"It's crazy to think of how we got here but god I am so happy we can be honest about how we feel about each other." Audrey smiled and then leaned closer, kissing your soft lips.
Sorry Noah, but I'm keeping her.
