Training has been a pain in the butt but it's been distracting me from my pain. I miss my aunt terribly but I love being here. And I gotta say the girl I met on the plane Abigail, has become my very best friend. I didn't know how awesome it is to have a friend and especially a friend like her.
We were sitting down during our recreational time and I was just touching my necklace as I stared at the beach. Abigail comes and hands me a bottle of water. I smile. "Thanks." "Training was tough huh?" I nod. "Yeah." "You looking forward to do some work in the shooting cages?" I nod.
I continue to touch my necklace and sighed. Abigail takes a sip and sighs. "Hey Emma?" I kept staring at the water and nodded. "Yeah?" "Emma..." I ignore her and she screams. "Emma!" I jump and chuckled. "Sorry Abigail." She smiles. "It's ok." I nod and sigh. "I've been meaning to ask you something." I nod.
"Yeah what is it?" I ask then I take a sip of water. "I've seen you always touching that necklace of yours, is it your boyfriend's?" I snap. "No it isn't." She jumps. "I'm sorry Emma..." I sigh. "Abigail, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to startle you like that, I'm a dirt bag.." She smiles. "It's ok Emma, I shouldn't have..." I sigh.
"It's ok we are friends, I think it's time I tell you that part of my life." She smiles. "Hey you don't have to if you don't want to." I smile. "I trust you." She smiles. "Well you know I'm a very odd girl." She laughs. "You're not odd, I'm odd." I laugh. "Then we are both odd." Abigail laughs. I smile then sigh.
"Well I don't want to take so long explaining it but yes, the one who gave me this is my boyfriend well was," I say and sighs She sighs as she grabs my hand. "If its too hard.." I grab her and smiled. "It's ok," I back away as I grabbed my water bottle. "Well you see a while ago I had lost my best friend, and after his death I became a very mean person." She gasps.
"Yeah and that's when I decided to change my life course and defend people, that's the reason why I'm here well one." She nods. "Anyways moving forward, the guy who was my boyfriend, he was in my class and I didn't like him but then an incident happen and we became close and well we became a couple." She smiles.
"And what's he like?" I slightly chuckle. She then gasps. "I am so sorry I shouldn't be asking that huh?" I sigh. "It's ok." She nods. "Aside from being tall he has these amazing blue eyes and black hair..." That's when I started to picture him, picture his laugh, his smile. That's when I hear Abigail giggle.
"He sounds handsome." I cough and I look at her. "Yes he is, and we had decided to join the force together you know." She gasps. "And what happened?" I sigh. "Well he abandoned me two days before graduation, and we were going to go to the FBI academy but I changed my mind and came here." She gasps.
"He abandoned you?" I sigh and nod. "And that's why I wear the necklace he gave me when he asked me out, to remind me never to trust a man again." She shakes her head. "So yeah he left me and I haven't heard from him since." She gasps. "Well I'm happy that happened." I gasp. "Why would you say that?" She smiles. "Because then I wouldn't have met you that day on the airplane, I wouldn't have met my best friend." I smile.
"Oh Abigail, you are amazing." She then hugs me. "Oh hey I have one question though?" I back away and nod. "Did his parents like you?" I sigh. "No." She nods. "Maybe they took him away." I gasp. I guess that explains why the house was empty. "I don't know Abigail." She nods.
"All I'm saying is because that's what happened between Sean and I." I gasp. "Is that the man you've talked to me about?" She nods. "Yeah he was my boyfriend too, but his parents hated my guts, until one day he was going to run away with me, so we decided to meet somewhere but the one who I met was his dad." I gasp.
"Yeah and he told me that if I were to go after Sean or even look for him, he would kill him." I gasp. "No." She sighs. "So don't give up on him." I nod. "But see you know it wasn't his choice, for me I don't know anything." "Emma, do you love him?" I sigh. "Look at me, do you Emma Swan love your boyfriend... wait what's his name?" I chuckle. "Killian Jones." She nods.
"So do you?" I nod. "I do." She smiles. "Then don't give up." I sigh. "Easier said than done." She smiles. "I believe that some day I will reunite with my Sean, because he is the love of my life." I smile. "God I wish I had your faith and optimism." She smiles. That's when the bell goes off. It was time to go to the shooting cages.
We get up and made our way down there. We all got our equipment and stood in front of our targets. I put on ear plugs and I pointed at my target. I stood there and I couldn't shoot. Why couldn't I shoot? That's when I felt all the anger stirring up inside me, I then start to shoot at the target.
My teacher walked over to me and smiled. "Swan good job, you hit the bullseye on all of them." I smiled as I looked at my target. "See you next week Swan." I look over at Abigail and smile. She gives me a thumbs up. "See you at dinner," she mouths. I nod and walked away.
I went back to my room and laid on my bed. Could it be possible that he left because his parents made him. I don't know but he's in the past now, my mission is to serve and protect, no matter what the cost.
