Miyah screamed as the axe flew towards her. She covered her head and shut her eyes.
Seconds later she realized she was still alive and looked up to see Mr.Greg in front of her floating and using his hands to stop the axe. From the looks of it he was struggling at the strength of Denis as he pushed down on the axe.
"You must leave...NOW!" A voice echoed coming from the stuffed animal. Miyah frozen in shock snapped out of it and ran out the shed. The axe was heard slicing through the floorboards.
Kimberly was outside the door yelling at Miyah, "Hurry Miyah Hurry!" Miyah made it through the door and it shut behind him.
Miyah panted and tried to catch her breath. "Mr...Greg..."
Denis grunted and picked up the stuffed animal that was perfectly cut in half. He examined it and then roared, "KIMBERLY!" He pulled the axe out of the floor and stomped towards the house. "KIMBERLY!"
"Oh no, he's coming we got to get you out of here, fast."
"But what about Mr.Greg."
Kimberly lifted her hands and Mr.Greg appeared in her arms good as new. "I duplicated him and used the unoriginal one to stop the axe." Miyah held him tightly. "Now you to need to go."
"But what about the map?"
"We can worry about that later right now we need you safe..."
Denis knocked at the door hard. "Kimberly you open this door right now."
"Go upstairs and it will take you home."
"KIMBERLY YOU DISOBEY ME!" Denis started hacking the door with his big axe. "YOU'LL BE PUNISHED FOR THIS!"
"Go!" Miyah ran up the stairs and heard the door breaking and Denis yelling loudly. Up the steps the room seemed bright and blinding but when Miyah went up the last stair she was blinded by the light and shielded her eyes.
Miyah opened her eyes to see her staring at the roof. She quickly sat up breathing heavily. She recognized where she was. She was outside her parents bedroom.
She walked downstairs with Mr.Greg in her hand and seen her mom in the living room talking to the police. "Mom?"
Her mom looked up in surprise, "Miyah?" She stood up and jogged to the steps. She picked her up and held her tight. "Oh Miyah I can't believe it's you." She looked at her, "Where were you? Your father has been looking everywhere for you."
"With a friend mom."
"You told your friend from school to lie, where were you really?"
Miyah looked at the police who stood by the living room entrance. "I have a friend...she lives deep in the woods...her name is Kimberly"
"Kimberly?"
Miyah nodded, "She's a ghost."
Her mom sighed and wiped her face, "Miyah there's no such thing as..."
The police officer intervened, "Um if I may...Miyah can you show us where your friend lives."
Miyah looked at her mom then at the police officer. She slowly nodded in agreement.
