The tale of Miyah Elise

Chapter 10:Unhuman

We walked up to the house and everything wasn't the same. The house itself seemed more different then Miyah last remembered.

"You keep look out Miyah he could be back any moment."

"Oh okay." Eren ran towards the shed as Miyah waited in front of the house. She was scared out of her mind that Denis would come back any moment.

She looked at the house and wondered if Kimberly was there. She decided to head inside where she saw the weirdest sight. There was broken floorboards and floating furniture. The door closed behind her. "You shouldn't be here Miyah, if Denis caught you here you'll be toast just like those officers and everyone else who tried." A echoed version of Kimberly's voice said.

"Kimberly?"

"I'm assuming you came for your friend Mr.Greg, I held on to him to keep him safe." Mr.Greg appeared in Miyah's hands and she held it tight.

"Aw thank you Kimberly!"

"Hey you did risk your life to get me to heaven, it was the least I could do."

"Where um are you?"

"What do you mean? I am everywhere."

"Your not making sense. What about your parents?"

"I no longer have a desire to reach heaven. Denis has enlightened me to see that staying here with him, where I am safe is the better option. Here I am where I belong."

"But Kimberly..."

"I am where I belong. My home is with Denis, and if you ever try to take me away from him he will kill you and I won't be able to stop him."

"Your different Kimberly."

"Some years here will do that to you. With my piano gone I provide my own entertainment, but hey music is overrated don't you think."

"He destroyed it?"

"No it was me. Denis said I had to let go of my past to move on, so I did."

"He's teaching you wrong, you loved that piano."

"Maybe but now I love Denis, now I love being on Earth and now your going to die."

"I'm going to what?"

"Hush my little Miyah. Denis is back." Kimberly deviously said.

The door opened back up and Miyah spotted Denis walking to the shed. Miyah ran outside. "EREN RUN!"

Eren looked back from looking at some of Denis's papers and tossed them all in there respectable places except for 2 maps. One was titled "Magic trap" and the other was labled "The road to heaven." Eren headed for the door and slipped knocking over some items in the shed. He ignored it and opened the door to see a giant figure in the doorway growling. "You ain't supposed to be here boy."

Eren pulled out his wand from his back pocket. "Pile of bones, rubble and spears let you witness all of your fears."

Denis stood there and suddenly began laughing loudly. "Hahaha did you really believe magic effects me, you and your sister are fools with sticks." Denis snatched the stick out of his hand and broke it in half. He then kicked Eren to the ground and knocked him out causing him to drop the maps. Denis turned around and looked at Miyah. "And as for you, I warned you never to come back here again. You chosen not to listen and therefore your death has been sealed." He charged towards her making sure to grab the axe out of the stump in the tree.

"I warned you." Kimberly whispered. "Here use this..."A gun appeared in Miyah's hand. "Shoot straight little Miyah."

Miyah stared at the gun in her hand and back at Denis holding the gun in front of her and putting a thumb on the trigger. Denis laughed as he moved in closer and closer until him and Miyah were face to face. Miyah looked away and pulled the trigger. There was a large bang and Miyah dropped the gun. A voice whispered in her ear. "Sorry little missy but no man made weapon will faze me the slightest. You wanna know a secret?" Miyah cringed and kept her eyes closed as she was scared for her life. "I ain't no human and I ain't no saint. I'm a demon." Miyah heard Denis raise his axe. "But that's just our little secret."

Eren sat up dizzy and held his head. "Miyah?" He looked up to see the axe raised above Miyah's head. "MIYAH!" He yelled. "Okay Eren you can do this, just remember what dad said. Hand magic is the greatest magic, magic shall be my greatest weapon. Fight without forever fearing, and you shall never be defeated." Eren stood up and lifted his hand, "Telepotrtus ramus!"

Eren and Miyah instantly disappeared as soon as Denis swung his axe. They sat up and found themselves at the beginning of the forest. Miyah breathed heavily with her stuffed animal clutched in her hands. " We're never doing that again..." Miyah huffed.

"Your telling me." Eren agreed.

"They escaped."

"Not to worry my dear Kimberly they'll return. Did you do what I asked."

"Yes the stuffed animal is safley in her hands as instructed. You weren't going to kill her were you?"

"Some things you have to learn Kimberly is that everything isn't that easily. Especially when you play with magic. But our time will come, patience is a major ingredients to things to come my love. And boy when they come it will be big."

"I'm tingling already, I can't wait to wreck stuff and cause panic, you get all the fun Denis."

"In due time. Once I get this girl to cooperate I'll be able to free you from this house. Then you may be free to do as much damage as you wish."
