Dan Howell has left all of his problems behind and moved to a different town, in hopes of a fresh start. Here, he discovers that he is a Protector, Phil Lester's Protector to be exact.
Just when he thinks his life is looking up, Dan's problems come...
(The second half has been rewritten since I didn't like how it ended.)
Phil's POV:
"Look at you, Philly! You're all grown up," says my mum as she wipes a tear from her eyes. My dad pulls her to his side and smiles at us.
"Aww, don't cry mum," I say. "You're going to make me cry."
"The kid's right," my dad says. He kisses her temple and she smiles.
"Alright, alright! It's just not everyday that my youngest son goes off to prom," she responds.
Just then, the doorbell goes off.
"Oh, that must be Daniel! Let me get my camera!" she exclaims as she rushes around. My dad follows her.
My stomach fills with butterflies as I walk to open the front door. I fix my hair and straighten out my blazer before doing so. I open it and there stands my angel boyfriend.
"H-hi!" I stutter as his beauty overwhelms me.
"Hello," Dan chuckles. "You look stunning."
"Thanks," I blush. "You do too."
He holds a clear box in his hand. Inside it is my boutonniere. He already wears his.
"This is yours. I hope you like it," he says as he gives me the box.
I look at it in awe. "It's beautiful," I smile.
"Oh, look at you two!" exclaims my mum. "You look absolutely amazing!"
A flash blinds me for a few second seconds.
"Thank you, Mrs. Lester," Dan blushes.
"Hello, Daniel," greets my dad.
"Hello, Mr. Lester." They shake hands
After that, my mum helps me put on my boutonniere. She takes a million pictures of us. I feel like I might go blind from the flash.

(This sucks but Dan is the one in the darker blue and Phil is the one in the light blue suit :P)
"We should probably get going," Dan says as he looks at his watch.
"We'll walk you out!" says my mum.
Dan holds my hand and leads the way out. My mum and dad follow. I gasp once we step outside. Parked right in front of the door is a black, shiny limousine. The driver smiles before opening the door for us.
"Dan, you shouldn't have," I tell him. He just smiles.
"I wanted to."
Meanwhile, my mom squeals and takes even more pictures.
"Have fun! And be safe!" she says. My dad smiles and waves.
I blush at the second part. Maybe she didn't mean it in that way, but it sounded like she did.
