i remember the first time i saw love.
at first i thought what we had was innocent,
but i was really into it.
love's smile was as bright as the sun.
he made my heart melt into rain drops.
after many hours of splashing fun,
i thought that day was done.

love had long brown shaggy hair.
love's hands fit into hockey gloves,
better than his hand in mine.

i feel inclined as to call him mine.
