Note to readers,
Hey! This is my first book ever! So excited! There are a few things that I wish for you to know and for me to make clear. 1:Every name I will ever use has a meaning, so look it up and see if it matches the character.2: I would love to hear from you! What you think of my book, be it negative or not, I would love to know.3: I ask that you will forgive any mistakes that might be made and finally I would just like to say that I hope you like my books and if not, deal with it!Chapter:1
No! Just when we had a beautiful day forecast it rains!
"This was supposed to be a beautiful day! But nooooooooo!" I said as I stared out at the rain tugging my red hoodie closer.
"Don't worry Alexandra it'll pass." My little brother comforted. Ugh I guess, I thought, calm yourself Alexandra, like Alfred said it's not going to last forever.
"What do you want to do?" He asked.
" I don't know. What is there TO DO? Mom and dad are on their date, Caden's at college and David's at his friends."
I turned around and sighed as I looked at Alfred, he was just staring with a hopeful look in his dark brown eyes. I knew what he wanted and they had give permission,
"Ok, fine! We'll play it! But only a little bit!"
"Yes!" He said as he clapped his hands. We only got to play the Playstation on Saturday, but since they were out, we could play. We ran downstairs, our feet thudding on the steps.
I turned on the tv and went to the game chest.
"What do you want to play?" I asked.
Alfred turned the playstation on with a thoughtful look. He turned to me and was about to say something but the doorbell rang. We looked at each other and ran back up the stairs. He opened the door to find his friend Darwin standing there.
"Darwin come in before you get soaked!" Alfred said.
"Hey I was wondering if you wanted to come to my house!" Said Darwin. Alfred looked at me.
"Oh I suppose that would be ok. But you check back with me at 3:30 ya got it!?"
"Yes, I've got it! Thanks Alexandra!" He gave me a hug and got his coat and shot out the door.
"You be careful! Don't get struck by lightning ok!" I called after them.
"We'll be careful I promise! Bye I love you!"
"Love you too!" I shut the door and humphed.
Now I was alone, that meant I didn't have to play his games. Then suddenly a feeling of dread sweepted over me. Almost chilling me to the bone. I shook, trying to shake off what I was feeling. Ugh! Why do I feel like this? Everything's going to be alright. I went downstairs, grabbed a controller, went back to the game chest and started rummaging through it.
What do I want to play? I asked myself.
Skyrim! That's what I was going to play! It was my favorite! I dug till I found it and popped it in the PlayStation. I waited for it to load, all the while listening to it pour. There was a flash, then, BOOOM! I screeched then chided myself. It's only lightning.I was staring out the small window when I heard the theme music start playing.
"Finally!" I said. I was just about to load my account when there was another, flash-BOOM.
This time though, it shook the whole house! I heard the windows rattling, then I heard, pssssss- zap-POP! Turning I see the tv screen dark and the PlayStation is......
