I had this chapter written for such a long time. Grief is hard and everyone deals with it on their own way. Especially with what has being going on in the world in the last couple of years with the pandemic. So this is your fair warning if you have any triggers about grief.

After an interesting time at the halloween party last night. I got a text from Holly later in the early afternoon saying that she would never drink again after her hangover. I doubted that. But for once in a long a long time I was finally having a fun time. Last night was really one of the nights that I felt like a real teenager. I, for one, had a headache when I woke up but it wasn't something that bothered me too much. Something that Tylenol couldn't fix. I also texted Jojo and Kira that same afternoon if they were okay when they woke up but they were not having the best time when they woke up just as Holly. The three of them spend the morning next to a trash can throwing up their guts when they couldn't make it to the restroom.
After last night my social battery was running low. I had to recharge to prepare for the new week to start. I wanted to have some time to myself today.
I hope that my parents or my brother call me today. I have been cooped up in my room all morning. But why leave my room? I have food, a computer where I could watch any movie or show and I had a bathroom. Looking outside my window with the perfect view of the woods I wanted to explore. What was beyond in those woods? As I knew that spooky season was over and now it was time to bring in the snow on the east coast.
Being the first day of the month it was cloudy and it was perfect lighting for taking photographs. Couple of weeks ago when Dessen came over the first time he left me my camera and I haven't had much time to take any pictures since it has been here. I walked over to the small walk-in closet and took out my camera and a backpack. I stuff a couple of snacks and a water bottle for when I get hungry. I changed into a dark orange jacket with plain black jeans and black boots. I strapped on my backpack and flipped the hood of my jacket to cover my head and made my way out to the woods.
Outside was chilly with a slight wind. There were a few people outside playing at the basketball court. I walked along the edge of the woods when I saw a trail into the woods. I found myself near a stream of water. Soon enough I saw that small stream branched into a creek. I walked further and found a bridge overlooking the creek. I stopped at the center of the bridge and set my backpad down and took out my camera to capture some pictures. My brothers would have loved it here. He would have been crazy enough to jump off of this bridge. I could already see it. My brother and Johnny jumping on top of the ledge of the bridge. Counting down before leaping over. I heard so many noises from the woods from birds chipping, branches breaking and leaves cracking as I stepped on them. I looked where the noise was coming and I saw a mama deer and a fawn near the stream.
