He Came From the Stars and He Stole My Heart (Optimus Prime Love Story)

Chapter 11.

"i left a note you know" she said getting in when Optimus opened his door.

"i know" was all he said as he started down the road again.

Optimus could't help but glance at Katelyn once she was in he could tell that something was bothering her for someone as strong as she was he never thought he would see such a frightened look in her eye's, also he could't understand why she was dressed the way she was though Tessa had told him once when she was dressed up when she went out with Shane that sometimes women just liked to look their best for people or just for the hell of it but Katelyn did strike him as the type to dress up with out a reason and even though she looked lovely it was clear that she was uncomfortable with such fresh scars showing or it was something else bothering her.

"Katelyn if there's something wrong you can tell me" Optimus said.

"i know it's just..." she said stopping half way.

"just what?" he asked.

"it's..let's just call it a bad day " she sighed.

He knew that was't what she wanted to say and what ever she really wanted to say she had stopped herself but he was't going to push it she was sure to say what was really bothering her when she was ready but he found he did't like that frightened look in her eye's, so instead of heading back to the house he pulled off the main road and into a filed which had her looking at him like he had lost it something or she was trying to work out what the heck he was doing, though he did't fully know himself but he knew one way to get that frightened look out of Katelyn's eye's and that was star gazing it had become something he did alone a lot of the time but Katelyn had started joining him even before she knew the truth about him and the other's and even though they did't say a word to each other he enjoyed the moments he had with her and she always had such wounder in her eye's when she looked at the stars she had a raised eyebrow at him when he finally came to a stop.

"come on" he said getting out the driver side as the other door opened and he helped her down and quickly open up the glove compartment and take something out and the door closed then hopped up on his hood and held a hand to help her up as well.

Ok this had to be one of the strangest thing's she ever done and by that she meant sitting on Optimus prime's hood leaning back against his windscreen looking up at the stars with his holoform right next to her who's arms where behind his head doing the same thing, and what he had grabbed from his glove compartment was well a large bar of chocolate even though he had quickly told her he was't one for sweets but every once in a while when he had gone driving with Cade and he had't eaten much all day they would normally stop some where and pick something up so he thought instead of always stopping at a gas station and them getting some very strange look's that it was best to have something on him and he also pointed out in the nicest way that her stomach had been growling from the moment he had picked her up which made her blush since she had't eaten the food when she meet with her former boss hell she did't care if she starved anything was better than being around that monster, but she could't help but chuckle as she bit into the chocolate a little warm and mushy but it tasted so good to her plus it was best when it was like that and it was when she finished it and licked the chocolate from her fingers that she got that safe feeling with him again and she could't help but smile as she looked up at the stars after a moment or two she glanced at him  and felt her whole body heat up she knew she had feeling's for him and she did't care what form that he was a robotic being from an other world heck he looked great in his real form just as he did in his holoform in his real form he was well taller than the other autobots and for someone his size you'd think he's have a heavy build to him but nope and she guessed in a way he had what you called a robotic six pack? ok that was enough to make her chuckle to herself which did't go unnoticed by Optimus also his voice could have any women melt at the knee's a voice that just held command but it was gentle all at the same time, but she could't get enough of those blue eye's of his she could get lost in them and never find her way out, even in his holoform his blue eye's like all the other's stood out but in a human way, also she had did like the dark hair and blue eye'd type more than other's but even in this form he had a toned build and it showed along with some of the scars he had which looked a lot more scarier than her's ever did also the stubble on his jaw really did suited him and the checkered shirts and jeans plus the boot's.

"Katelyn you ok you've been starring at me for a while?" Optimus asked sitting up like she was.

"huh? oh right yeah sorry just lost in my own head for a moment there sorry for starring Optimus" god did she feel silly for saying that she was acting like a school girl who'd got caught glancing at a crush or something.

"there's no need to be sorry..though i do have a question" Optimus said.

"well ask away" she said.

"what were you laughing at?" he asked.

"oh that...erm...i well erm...just a thought in my head no need to worry yourself optimus guess it just tickled me that's all you know when you see something funny but then some one else does't really understand why you found it funny" she said feeling herself go really pink in the face hoping he got what she was saying.

"i'm not sure that i follow" Optimus said.

She was getting the feeling that she was digging herself a rather deep hole here but she would try explaining it to him again but she made the mistake of moving a little and she lost he balance and slipped right off of Optimus hood only the thing was she thought doing that and landing in  a heap on the ground would hurt more hell she knew she was as pink as anything but she noticed when she opened her eye's that is was that she had't landed on the ground at all and instead she was laying on Optimus when she slipped he must of moved, to grab her so she did't get hurt and they must of rolled so he took the impact when they hit the ground if she was't pink in the face from making a fool out of herself before she was now.

"oh Optimus i'm sorry are you alright?" she asked getting off him so he could sit up.

"i'm fine Katelyn..i'v had worse than just a slight bump to the back of the head" Optimus chuckled she had't heard him laugh before it was a sound she would't forget and had her laughing along with him.

"i guess so..and guess i can say the same" she said.

"very true" he chuckled again.

Even though the slipping off his hood had't been apart of the plan to make the fear in her eye's go away but it had worked, and he was glade to see that she was more or less back to herself after a moment or he stood and offered a hand to her to help her back up to her feet she took it and soon was toe to toe with him thought he was't sure what made him do what he did next either it was just the moment or the way she looked  since he never kissed a human female before sure he had done something along the line's like this with Elita-One once a very long time ago but never with a human but he would be lying if he said he did't have feeling's for Katelyn and when he stopped for a moment giving her the chance to push him way she did't instead she closed the small gap between them and her arm's wrapped around his neck holding him closer as his went around her waist.

Katelyn was sure she was going to have her head checked to make sure she was't just dreaming but if she was she did't want to be woken up from it, but it happened so fast from falling off Optimus hood him making sure she did't get hurt from the slight fall and both having a laugh and him helping her to her feet and in the next second he was kissing her, she was shocked at first but soon over came that by how soft his lips felt against her's and he stopped for a second like he was giving her the chance to push him away or move away herself but instead she chased after those lips of his and letting him know there was nothing wrong with what he she wrapped her arms around his neck holding him closer while his went around her waist and she had never felt happier or safer than she did right at this moment and all her fears seemed to vanish when she was with him and it felt like what ever happened she could face it with him.
