Chapter 16.

They finally made it to the house and the first thing Amanda asked about was the barn and she quickly said that the autobot's real bodies were in there and also so they could stand and move around with ease was the reason for it's size and why the house was so far from town that she got, once in the house they were both greeted by Shane and Tessa and they told them everyone else was helping her dad with something and that they would be in for dinner which was nearly ready so she took Amanda up stairs first acting like she was showing her around when in truth she was going to be looking for blind spots and she found a few so while Tessa and Shane were busy she took Amanda back outside to do the same thing while grabbing some beer's from the fridge and after a while and finding a few blind spots that could be covered when Duke brought what was needed in a few days then they were't going to be a problem and they ended up sitting on the porch for a while.

"i can see why you like it out here girl it's quiet peaceful..i could live like this myself" Amanda said.

"you thinking of packing it in as well?" she asked.

"sometimes i do..i mean after what  you told me what happened to you i can understand why you did't want to go back to Bishop..also wanting to you protect the autobots" Amanda said keeping her voice low so they were't over heard.

"well after they safe your life you want to do the same for them" Katelyn said.

"Katelyn i know it's more than that what you were doing with Bishop and his team i can tell it never sat right with and i do feel for the autobot's getting so much blame and hate..it's not right " Amanda said.

"you've got a good heart Amanda" Katelyn said toasting her.

"well learnt from the best...say is that them?" Amanda asked pointing to the people coming out of the barn.

"yeah that's them want to say hello" Katelyn said.

"hell yeah" Amanda said following her over to them.

She was sure that Tessa had told them that she was bringing someone back to the house and when they reached them it was clear she had though she did feel bad for Brains since it meant he had to stay hidden in the barn again even though Amanda was on their side they well did't know that or what was going on, though she was feeling more and more guilty about not telling them but she would soon like she promised Optimus she would, she snapped out of her thoughts as she smiled as the warmly greeted Amanda it was nice to see and she could't help thinking that maybe one day they would't have to hide who they were and other's would treat them just like this though that seemed like wishful thinking but one could wish for right?

"hay Kat you alright?" Amanda asked turning away from Tom(Hound).

"huh? yeah why?" she asked.

"you spaced out there for a second"Amanda said.

"everything's fine just lost in my own head that's all" she said with a shrug of the shoulders.

"Katelyn your friend can stay for dinner if she wants" Cade said.

"if she wants and no else mind's" Katelyn said.

"she's your friend girl can't send her off on an empty stomach" Leo(crosshairs) said.

"you lot are sweet and thank's i'm starved someone dragged me here on an empty stomach" Amanda said linking arms with Tom(Hound) and Leo(crosshairs) she could't help but chuckle a little as she watched them lead her to the house.

"Amanda is very charming Katelyn" Optimus said making her jump a little since she had't noticed he was standing right next to her.

"i use the word fancy for Amanda since she does dress to impress a lot of the time and i'm glade to see she has't changed that much it was by chance that we bumped into each other to day" she said looking at him.

"she sounds very interesting" Optimus chuckled.

"oh she is and trust me she is and i can say that dinner is going to be very interesting" she chuckled.

"then we better catch up then" Optimus said holding out his hand to her which made her smile and she took it.

Katelyn could't believe that the whole evening went by as fast as it did but she had to admit it had been fun having Amanda there for more than just seeing how bad the blind spots were but they could be covered when Duke brought her what she would need in a few day's and for a while she could push all those fears and worry's to the back of her mind for a while like when she was with Optimus, but she knew they would't come back again just like they always did because she knew that Bishop was getting ready to make his move sooner or later she just hoped when he did that she would be ready for it.

Raymond could feel his anger boil just under his skin he had always liked Amanda but he never thought she would be someone to try and help those aliens why could't Katelyn and her see that there was no good or bad one's they were all the same no matter what way you looked at it, he sighed checking the gun he had in his glove compartment was loaded he would make it quick though he did't want to drag it out then he would deal with Matt the same way then Duke though a part of him did't want to they were his friends his teammates but orders were orders and a solider followed them through no matter what and it seemed like Katelyn had forgotten that and dragged other's down with her it was why Galloway and Bishop had come to him they knew he could get this job done because well they would't see it coming in till it was to late he sighed while hiding the gun and getting out of the car and started to follow Amanda he knew she was staying in town just for the night after checking those blind spots for Katelyn with each step he took he could feel his heart thump against his chest he was't sure if it was guilt at what he was being ordered to do or thrill dealing with this bot lovers as Galloway had called them.

He stopped a few time's when she did he could't help but smirk Amanda knew when someone was following her most of all in a blind spot she was one of the meany reasons they got through so meany mission's back in the day, she started to walk faster that he almost had to run to keep up that's when he lost her for a second though he soon found her again though it was more like she found him.

"Raymond..what on earth are you doing?" she asked.

"what i'm ordered to do Amanda..that's all" he said.

"what do you mean by...." she said.

"just what i said Amanda following orders" he said.

He lifted the gun so Amanda could see it though he would't give her credit where it was due even with a gun pointed at her and she knew it was aimed to kill she did't bat and eyelid when she looked him in the eye sure there was something there almost sad, when he looked in her pale blue eye's like she could't believe he would do something like this but then it was gone.

"Amanda..i" he said but she sighed shaking her head then glared at him.

"don't say your sorry..i know your not like you said following orders right" she said .

"yeah orders" he said pulling the trigger.
