Beauty

We slap our faces with fairness creams,
Our skin the colour of the tea we drink,
For we were taught white is art and brown is not,
Maybe being beautiful is not what we think,

Fair and lovely is what we all want,
But brown is what we have,
Beauty comes from within,
With acceptance, love, understanding and trust,
Maybe being beautiful is not what we think.

Shouldn't racism be other way like
Dark people have more melanin in their skin that gives them colour and also it helps preventing skin cancer..
So all dark people should be like ehhh we have more melanin (smirks)
