Piece by piece it kills itself,
But my heart beats,
the bright brown of my eyes has faded,
but determination shines,
like a lonely star in the dark sky,

leaning on my nightstand,
I challenge it to pull me from my lover's grip,
A single teardrop falls on my skin,
it burns my already fading soul,
I open my mouth to speak,
but no words come out,
I see pain in his eyes,
more than my body feels,
death spreads it's wings,
promising me relief,
I fight for my soul,
I fight for my life,
But in the end,
I find my relief,
in the arms of chaos......
