TRAPPED

Locked in a cage
tethered to a rope lies a beast,
the beast needs freedom more than his next breath,
Ropes strangles his neck as he desperately tries to free himself,
it goads the beast pushing him to play foul,
he won't accept defeat but neither do the ropes..

Trapped in a cellar,
the stone walls touch the sky,
there isn't any exit,
my mind taunts my thoughts
no matter how violent the fight gets,
neither of them surrender..
