Multiverse Part 1: Flash Fire

Chapter 2: Air Leo

"What's this?" Leo asked as he held the device Cisco had just given him. "It's something we usually keep for a friend of ours named Firestorm, but I've modified it to fit other people's cells, not just Firestorm's cells." Cisco explained. "What does it do?" Leo asked. "It's complicated, so I'll just tell you that if you put the big circle above your heart, you'll be able to fly. Try it!" Cisco said excitedly. Leo said "OK, man. I trust you." and he placed the device over his heart. The big circle suddenly started glowing orange, and three of the smaller circles spread out to the other side of his chest. "Cool! Now all I gotta do is take this for a test drive!" Leo said. "Yeah, maybe you could do it outside?" Barry said. "Huh? Oh, right." Leo said. They headed outside to test it. They went to an open space near S.T.A.R Labs and Leo used his power over fire, pointing the blasts at the ground to give himself lift like a jetpack's afterburners. It worked! Leo was thrilled! He could fly, he could actually fly! He went through the air, saying "I feel like Superman or something!" and then came back down to land- except he crashed. "Ooh." Cisco said. Leo got up and dusted himself off, saying "Yeah, I guess I need to work on my landing a little more. Also, this thing is awesome!" and everyone laughed. Then, they all went back inside. "So, what next?" Leo asked. Barry shrugged and said "I don't know. Savitar hasn't exactly made a move for a while now." "And what about, er, Killer Frost, or should I say, um, Caitlin?" Leo asked. Julian looked down with a disheartened expression, saying "No word on her, either." "Ah." Leo said, nodding his head slowly. Suddenly, one of the TVs turned on, with a news reporter saying "In the latest meta-human attack, people have reported a white blur racing around, destroying objects. This mysterious white blur has also killed several people. Along with the white blur, a meta calling herself 'Killer Frost' is causing havoc everywhere she goes." Then, the news report ended, and the TV turned off. "Well, I guess we know where they are now." said Joe. Barry changed into his Flash costume, and Wally changed into his Kid Flash costume. "Let's go." Barry said, and both he and Wally raced off. "I'll go, too." said Leo, and he ran outside, then used his new power of flight to blast off into the air. Meanwhile, Cisco went to suit up into his Vibe costume. Barry, Wally, and Leo went as fast as they could to where Savitar and Killer Frost were. When they found the ice trails, they knew they were getting close, and they went faster. And then, finally, they made it. Leo landed on the ground, barely stopping himself from tripping, and Barry said "OK, here's the plan. Me and Wally will fight Savitar, and Leo, you fight Killer Frost." Leo and Wally both nodded, and then there was a whoosh, some white lightning, and then Savitar, or someone who Leo assumed was Savitar, appeared in front of them. "Is that him? Is that Savitar?" Leo asked. Barry and Wally both nodded, and Savitar said "Flash. Why come here and attempt to battle me, when I am so close to ascension? You know that by this point, you cannot win." Barry replied "I don't think so. Both me and Wally have gotten much faster, and you won't get memories from me, not anymore, that is." Then, Barry and Wally charged, and Savitar ran off, with both Barry and Wally in hot pursuit. Meanwhile, Leo went to find Killer Frost. He was nervous, but Barry and Wally had already told him about most of her powers, and she was hurting innocent people. I never thought I would become a superhero like this, Leo thought to himself, and then he grinned to himself. He missed home, but this superhero stuff was sure exciting! Then, he pushed that thought aside, and went to find Killer Frost. After flying around looking for her with no luck, mainly due to ice being pretty much everywhere, he saw ice suddenly appearing at an intersection, so he headed there to check if Killer Frost was there. And, surprise, surprise, there she was.
