Multiverse Part 1: Flash Fire

Chapter 5: Savitar Under The Armor

Killer Frost had her arms against the alley wall, trapping Leo in.  "What the-" Leo started, but Killer Frost held a finger to his lips and said "Ssshhhh." then she winked. Leo was very confused, and worried. He had to get out, but how? He couldn't blast her away without the risk of hurting her, he couldn't fly or she might grab him or freeze his legs, so what could he do? Suddenly, he thought of something. He didn't think it would work, but he had to try. He glanced behind Killer Frost and opened his mouth as if something terrible was there. It was the oldest trick in the book- and she fell for it. She removed her arms from the wall behind Leo, looked away, and he blasted off, thinking he had escaped- until he realized he couldn't move his legs. He saw the floor coming closer and closer until he felt himself hit his head, and then everything went black. 

"Ugh." Leo mumbled while waking up. He tried to get off the ground, then realized something was odd- why couldn't he get up? Then, his vision cleared for a moment, and he saw Killer Frost's face above his. His senses came back, and he realized he was sprawled on the ground, with Killer Frost on top of him. "Well, aren't you clever." she said, smiling. "What-" Leo started, but Killer Frost held a finger to his lips again and also shushed him again. Leo wasn't sure what she was up to, but he was fairly certain that he wouldn't like it. "Well, that was fun." Killer Frost said, "At least for me. You had quite the crash-landing back there." Leo was hit with another round of dizziness, so he couldn't respond. "Oh, sorry, are you dizzy? Maybe this will help." Killer Frost purred. She grabbed the straps of Leo's overalls and closed her eyes, then started to pull him towards her. "H-hey, get off of me-" Leo started, but Killer Frost cut him off by yanking Leo by the overalls towards her, straight into a kiss. Immediately, Leo could feel his entire body becoming colder and colder, but he knew he could counter it without burning Killer Frost- he used his power over fire to set his hair ablaze, and he could feel the heat from his hair being set on fire spreading through his body, making him warm again. He kept it on fire, to avoid freezing solid. Barry and Wally never mentioned this! Although, they cut themselves off when we arrived, Leo thought. He tried to pull away, but Killer Frost held on tightly to Leo's overall straps. Then, after what felt like an eternity, she pulled away, smiling with her eyes half-closed, in a flirting style. "Still dizzy?" she asked. Leo didn't answer, because he was too busy trying to process what had just happened. Killer Frost laughed and made an ice path, and said "See you soon." Then, she raised her hand and wiggled her fingers in a "goodbye" fashion. And then she was gone. Leo blinked, and said something like "Uh-um-huh." and then he shook off his daze, and flew off to find Barry and Wally. He had a feeling that they were in trouble. And they were. He found them being thrown around by Savitar, and when he had them on the ground and was about to finish them off, he said "How ironic. Instead of letting you suffer, consider this a mercy from me. I shall grant you the sweet release... of death. Who wants to meet the Speed Force first-" then he was cut off, because two white-hot pillars of fire had blasted him aside. Leo ran up to them, his fire dying down, and he helped both Barry and Wally up, asking "Are you OK?" They nodded, but then Wally said "Look out!" but it was too late. Savitar knocked both of the Flashes aside and grabbed Leo, slamming him against the wall by the throat. Killed by a knockoff Transformer, never did I think I'd see the day, Leo thought. He was ready to die, but he sure didn't like it. He shut his eyes, when all of a sudden a vibrating blast hit Savitar in the ribs and he went flying away. It was Cisco, in his Vibe costume! He helped Leo up as Leo gasped for air. Then, the four of them noticed Savitar getting up again. He looked at them all, and then said "Since you'll all be suffering eternal damnation soon, I'll show you my true face." He bent down, and the back of the armor started to open,  after which the moment of truth arrived. A figure in black pants and a black turtleneck stepped out of the armor, with his head down. "Um, didn't you say you were going to show us your face?" Leo asked. The person smiled deviously and said "Heh. I did say that, didn't I?" and he lifted his head, showing everyone his face. "Aah!" Leo yelped, jumping backwards a little. "Yikes, man, what's going on, y'know, um... here?" he asked while having his finger circle the right side of his face. The man just smiled wider and said "My ascension is nearly at hand. Once I have control over all of time, it will be you," then he pointed at Barry and continued, "who is abandoned and forgotten!" "Yeah, yeah, that's great and everything, but you still haven't answered my question: who in Hades are you?" Leo asked. The man looked towards him and said "Hm, that's funny. I don't recall you from any memory of Barry's. And if you couldn't find the answer to your question from what I just said, I'll give you another hint. I am the future Flash." Leo started to say "What-" but then he put the pieces together and, to be frank, he was shocked. "Y-you're... B-Barry?" Leo stuttered. Savitar-Barry grinned evilly and said "Enjoy a life with at least a little hope in it while you all still can, because soon, you won't have any hope left, just like me after I was shunned by all of you!" And with that, before anyone could react, he got back into his armor and sped off.
