I snuggled deeper into Caleb's arm, my body shaking due to the cold Winter night.

Rosewood, the place where I grew up, and way too fast at that.

My childhood home, was now home to a young couple and their little boy.

My moms gravestone lay untouched and the Rosewood High halls the same dirty yellow colour.

My daughters, glove covered hand slid into mine, Hope asleep in Caleb's arms.

I ran my hand along the white picket fence of my house.

Well, it wasn't my house anymore but still.

I remembered the day Caleb and I got caught making out in the hall, and suddenly tears fell down my face and I collapsed- before everything went black.

Bright lights flashed in my eyes, nurses and doctors shouting and my baby girls crying for their mommy.

Caleb's Pov
"Baby, are you ok?" I asked my beautiful wife as her eyes flicked open adjusting to the harsh light.

"Caleb, what's wrong with me?"

Only now Caleb noticed the dark circles under her eyes, the sagging skin showing her prominent bones- she was purging again.

She promised she would tell me, I wanted to walk away, I wanted to leave her and blame her but I couldn't she's my baby, my life, my soulmate.

I just can't believe I didn't notice; I'd been working so much to support our family and I didn't even know my wife was sick

"Han, babe, Why do this to yourself, you are perfect?"

"Caleb, why me? You could have the skinniest prettiest girl and you chose me!"

I pressed my lips to her gently
"Because, you are my baby girl and I love you!"
