Hide and Seek

For the last few days the children have been hiding, running, from everyone, not going home, or school, they simply disappeared.

"What are we going to do?" Asked Chloe as she and her siblings hid in the shadows, "yeah, we can't hide forever" said Dawn, "your right" said Aiden and throw his hat, "but what will we do? We are goners if we step front in public" he turned to his sisters, they were very upset, Ava sat down and just stared at her siblings, she was to young to understand everything that was going on, but that didn't mean she wasn't still scared.
Soon they heard, "HEY!" The kids jumped, and turned around, to see five grown ass men, "damn it!" Said Aiden loudly, "it's okay children" said a man, "we aren't going to hurt you" "just come with us" said another man, then they walked closer, "shit! Girls run!" Aiden yelled then grabbed Ava's hand and ran closed behind Chloe and Dawn, "we are done for!" Yelled Dawn, "Dawn! You're going to jinks us!" Yelled Chloe, "just keep running!" Yelled Aiden, "KIDS STOP!" Yell the men, soon Aiden seen a dark alley, he first hasitated then yelled "through there!" His sisters were surprised that their big brother was telling them to run into a dark alley, but they had no time to question, they quickly followed Aiden. Then they hid in plain sight, but no one could see them because it was so dark.

The people ran right pass them thinking the kids have ran out, once they couldn't see the people anymore they rushed to their feet and speeded out of the alley, but then fell over from fright once they heard, "CHILDREN!" They knew that voice, and knew it well, it was their dad!! The kids quickly rushed to their feet and stared at their angry looking, abusive, strong parents bumbling towards them, the kids froze in fear.
"You kids are in a lot of trouble" said their dad and grabbed Aiden's shirt and rose him up, closer to his face, the dad said, "you kids are dead boy!" The kids started shaking, "you kids are toast" said their mom and she stumbled to the girls. The kids knew they lost the game of hide and seek, and knew what they were in for..

Later that night the kids went to bed black and blue, staving, their tears covered the bed, it almost looked like a river, but then the blood dripped down and the river become a death bed.

Then at 3AM, Ava's door creeped open again, Ava jumped, and knew the pain wasn't over.

The next morning everything happened all over again, and they were forced to attend school, "maybe we can ditch" said Chloe, "good luck with that" said Aiden, "yeah, I don't know about you but I don't want anymore pain" said Dawn, the kids looked down in sadness, then Aiden looked to Ava, she was still very white, and out of it, "you know... Maybe we should tell them.." said Aiden, "WHAT?!" Asked Chloe and Dawn, "think about it, if we get help, they can protect us from our parents! And Ava needs medical attention, she's getting worse by the minute" Chloe and Dawn looked to Ava and seen she was definitely getting worse, "you're right" said Chloe, "it's time to come clean" said Dawn. So the kids rushed to school, and quickly ran into class, "Mrs. Honey!" Said the 3 oldest, Mrs. Honey looked up from her laptop, "we are ready to tell you!" Said Aiden, Mrs. Honey then looked to her class, she smiled and said "okay, keep working children, I'll be just in the hall if anyone needs me" then she quickly followed the children to the hallway, "so?" She asked, "okay, we are coming clean" said Chloe, "but you gotta promise to protect us!" Said Dawn, Mrs. Honey nodded, the kids looked to each other then at Mrs. Honey, "okay, our parents..." Aiden started, "they abuse and neglect us" Mrs. Honey mouth went wide, her eyes glued to the kids, then she hugged the kids, "I'm so sorry children, but you are so brave to tell me, thank you" she smiled and stood up, "let's go talk to the principal" then she let out her hand for Aiden to grab, he stared then took hold of her hand, the girls took hold of eachother's hands and Aiden's.
When they reached the principles office, the kids spilled their guts! They told them when the abuse began, how bad it got, about them being beating till they bleed, they told them about their parents calling them names, like restarted, stupid, dumb, assholes, pricks, and hell of a lot more! They told them they don't have food or much of anything at home, they told them about the hospital story, about the threats, and... About their dad raping Ava, every night, at 3AM, then Aiden said, "oh! And you need to get Ava checked out right away!" "Okay, who's your family doctor?" Asked the principal, the 3 oldest then shouted, "NO!" Ava hid her eyes, "anybody but him!" Said Chloe, "he tried raping her when she went to see him from the playground accident!" Said Dawn, "please get someone else!" Said Aiden and went to his knees, then Chloe and Dawn went to their knees, Ava copied, Mrs. Honey and the principal looked to each other in sadness, "okay, okay, don't worry Children" said the principal, at that moment some nice ladies and a man walked in, 4 to be exact.
"Hello children" said a lady, "I'm Ruby, these are my friends, Brittany, Liza, and Clint" Ruby was a red head, and had pretty dark blue eyes, and nice tan skin, she was wearing a nice professional white dress, and white high heels, Brittany was a bright blonde, she had cute gray eyes, and nice tan skin, she was also was wearing a professional dress, it was black, and light red high heels, Liza had black long straight black hair, lovely brown skin, and cute hazel eyes, she was also wearing a professional dress, it was baby blue, and dark blue high heels, Clint was very tall, he had short brown hair, pale skin, pretty baby blue eyes, and he was wearing professional clothing as well, his shirt was white, his pants were black, and he hair diet brown shoes on, but all 4 smiled were beautiful, Ruby said "we are from Children and Family services, and we're here to help."
