The kids were finally trusting their foster family, happy. They were playing soccer in their front yard with the 3 kids, when they seen a moving truck going up the driveway next door, "I guess someone's moving in, no one lived their in 3 years" said Alex, "huh" said Aiden, then they seen a blue car pull in, and a tall man, with short, messy black hair, blue eyes, tan skin, and wearing glasses, he was wearing a clean white shirt sleeve shirt, light brown shorts, and black work boots, he looked to the kids then grabbed hold of his wife's hand, she was a tiny bit shorter then the man and had long wavy brown hair, pale skin, and was wearing a lovely bright pink spring dress, and bright red high heels, she smiled at the kids, then they heard the man call out "Octavia, hurry along please" then the kids seen a little girl, probably around 4 or 5 run out of the van and to her parents, she had long black hair, up in pig tales, with dark red bows, tan skin, and was wearing a pretty bright yellow dress, with black little shoes on her feet, she was carrying a dirty white bunny, she looked to the kids, then hurried after her parents, nor a smile, nor a wave, the kids seen sadness, and fear in her eyes, they knew the signs, because they were there.
That night the kids were conserned about the little girl they seen, "do you think she's getting abused?" Asked Aiden, "neglected?" "I don't know" said Chloe, "but if she is, we need to save her, she has no siblings to save her, like we did" said Dawn, "girl needs help" said Ava and pointed out the window, the 3 oldest hurried to the window, to see in the next door neighbours upstairs bedroom window, the father hitting the little girl, she screamed, but the father blasted pop music, so no one would hear her screams, but the siblings could still hear her a tiny bit, but then, they heard the bed going up and down, Ava knew what was happening, she got scared, she started crying, and screamed! She screamed like someone was murdering her! Her siblings hugged her, avd told her to calm down, then the foster family ran in...
"Is everything okay!" Asked Larry, "what happened?" Asked Molly, the kids didn't answer, they just looked out the window and seen the father staring out the window at them, with a belt in his hands, all bloody, then he quickly closed the window.
The next morning the 4 siblings awoke to see the little girl sitting on the window seel, the siblings jumped up, "what you doing here?" Asked Aiden, "your parents invited us over for the day, so I waited till you woke up" said the little girl, the siblings got off their beds and Aiden said, "oh, okay, but they aren't our parents" "oh? Then who are they?" "They're our foster parents" said Chloe, the little girl looked shocked, "where are your real parents?" "They abused and neglected us very bad" said Aiden, "for years, getting worse and worse, untill finally, we told our new teacher" said Chloe, "we went in and out of foster homes, got separated, caused hell, got kicked out, went into a group home, Ava got abused there to, but we didn't know untill a few days ago, then we left and came here, now we have to go to a new school because we are so far away from our old school" said Dawn, "wow" said the little girl, "yep, but anyways, what's your name?" Asked Aiden, "my name's Octavia" "cool name" said Dawn, Octavia giggler, "thanks" she said, "how old are you Octavia?" Asked Chloe, "I'm 5" said Octavia, the kids smiled, "what's your names and ages?" Asked Octavia, "I'm Aiden, I'm 12" "I'm Chloe, I'm 9" "I'm Dawn, I'm 7" "and that's Ava, she's 3" said Aiden, "she don't talk no more" said Chloe, "oh?" Asked Octavia, "don't ask" said Dawn, Octavia giggled, "okay."
The kids then went downstairs for breakfast, "ah, children, I see you met Octavia" said Molly, the kids nodded and sat at the table, "this is her father and mother, Steve Burns, and Ivvy Burns" the kids waved, when they were having breakfast, the kids couldn't help but notice, Steve being a little to friendly with Octavia, and angry, they kids could tell Octavia was uncountable, the kids hurried to get done then said, "Hey, Octavia, wanna come to the park with us?" Asked Aiden, "yes!" She said happily, and went to stand up, but Steve put his hand on her furthest side, and stared at her, Octavia sat back down, looked to her plate, and asked her dad, "is that alright sir?" He smiled, a evil smile, the kids could tell, and a replied, "yes, be home by dinner" Octavia nodded, "thank you sir" then she placed her plate in the sink and stood by the 4 siblings, Chloe grabbed her hand and they all started walking out the door, "we need to talk" whispered Chloe.
When the kids got to the park, they dropped their bikes and looked to Octavia, "what's going on?" Asked Aiden, "excuse me?" Asked Octavia, "what's going on at home? With your dad?" Octavia looked down, and rubbed her right arm, "n-nothing" replied Octavia, the 4 siblings looked to each other, then Chloe walked to Octavia, and lifted up her sweaters sleeve, then they seen brushes! The siblings mouths dropped, "What happened?" Asked Chloe, "nothing!" Snapped Octavia, and pushed Chloe back, "I just fell!" "No!" Said Aiden loudly and walked very close to Octavia, "no! You didn't fall! You were hit! We know you were! Because, we were just like you once!" "Hiding under a mask, covered with sadness and anger, trusted no one, and made up lies with people asked us about our brushes" said Dawn, Octavia looked down, "come on, let's go talk to our foster parents " said Chloe and went to take Octavia's hand, but she backed away, "NO!" Shouted Octavia, "my dad will find out!" "He'll beat me!" The 4 siblings looked to each other, then Chloe took her by the hand, "no he won't! Our foster parents will you get help, and take you away from your dad" said Chloe, "my mother to?" Asked Octavia quietly, "what you mean, your mother?" Asked Dawn, "he hits her to, she tries to stop him from hitting me, but he knocks her out, and beats me...." The 4 siblings looked to each other, then hugged Octavia, "of course!" Said Chloe, "your mouth will get out to" Octavia smiled, then they all got on their bikes and drive to the house.
