Chapter Four: The Lessons

Teaching children new rules, and new everything can be hard, but teaching children that went through so must trauma can be extremely difficult! Expexally with these 4 siblings.
The 4 siblings walked into their foster house at 10:00pm, Becca and Matt were waiting for them, "where were you?" Asked Becca, "out" said Aiden as he closed the door behind him, "do you kids know what time it is?" Asked Matt, "no, 'cause, we don't care" said Aiden, "well we do, like it or not, you're part of our family now and you need to respect our rules" said Becca, "which is?" Asked Chloe, Becca and Matt stood up, "inside by 7:00pm, clean up after yourselves, no fighting, listen to us, dinner is 6:00pm, we eat together in the dinning room, breakfast is 9:00pm on weekends, 7:00pm on school days, bedtime is 8:00, 10:00pm is the latest, do your chores, and respect yourselves, your family, and other people" said Becca, the kids stared at them, "we do respect ourselves, we respect each other, but we don't respect any of you or other people, you haven't earned our trush, or respect" said Aiden, "well neither have you kids, you're grounded, get to bed!" Said Matt roudly, the kids gave them a death stare then started walking up the stairs, but stopped and Aiden turned around and said angrily, "you! Are just like our parents!" Becca and Matt gasp, "how?" Asked Matt, "the yelling" said Chloe, "the rules, only different ones" said Dawn, "anger" said Ava quietly, "and, the hatred of us" said Aiden, "we don't hate you" said Becca, "stop acting!" Shouted Aiden, Ava covered her ears, "you do hate us! No one loves us! No one cares about us! This is just your job! You only took us in for the money! Once you stopped getting paid we are gone! But into the darkness!" He shouted, "unloved" said Chloe, "unwanted" said Chloe, "forgotten" said Ava quietly, "and left behind" said Aiden, "goodnight" the children said they walked up the stairs to their rooms, they then jumped into bed, and fell fast asleep.

The next morning the kids woke up and heard voices coming from downstairs, they quietly tiptoed downstairs and seen... Their CAS workers talking to Becca and Matt, the kids looked to each other then walked into the living room, "what's going on?" Asked Aiden, their CAS workers looked to the kids, and Ruby said, "go get pancked again, you kids are not behaving, we need to find you new homes" the kids looked to Becca and Matt, then they started walking to the stairs, but then, Dawn stopped, "wait" she turned around to face the CAS workers, "new homes?" The CAS workers looked to each other then the children, "we'll talk after" said Liza, so the kids hurried up the stairs, so they could talk, "are they bringing us to separate homes?" Asked Dawn, as she grabbed her black garbage bag and started filling it with her belongings, "they better not be!" Said Chloe, as she did the same, "yeah! We need each other!" Said Aiden, as he angrily took his garbage bag, Ava sat in her bed and just stared, after Aiden was finished throwing his belongings in the garbage bag, he helped Ava do the same.
When they were down, they looked to each other, and hugged one another, "I love you girls" said Aiden, the girls said "I love you back" then they walked down the stairs, as slowly as they could, "ready?" Asked Brittany, the kids nodded, the kids then stared at Becca and Matt as they walked out the house with their CAS workers.
In the car their CAS workers had some bad news...
"Children, we have to separate you kids" said Clint, the kids were stunned, "WHAT!?" Asked the 3 oldest roudly and loudly, Ava held her ears, she knew screams were about to come.

"You, you can't separate us!" Shouted Aiden, "we're family!" Shouted Chloe, "this isn't fair!" Shouted Dawn, "children, please!" said Liza loudly, "you kids are being separated because you will not listen to the rules!" Said Brittany, "so? Nobody cares what we do! If we live or die!" Said Aiden loudly, "children, yes, people do!" Said Ruby, "LIER!" Screamed Aiden, the CAS workers then tried to calm them down but it was no used.
That night the kids were forced to go to different foster homes, Aiden to a teen home, because he was almost a teen, and Chloe and Dawn went to foster homes that suited their needs, Ava, went to a foster home to help her with her needs, and to get her to talk again.
