At school, their class had to do projects about their lives, the 4 siblings didn't want to, they don't want everyone to know what they go through, but they had to.
That night the kids stayed up working on their project, "should we colour the cover page?" Asked Chloe, "yeah, but, sad colours" said Aiden, Chloe nodded and started colouring, Dawn and Ava helped colour, Aiden started typing up their life story.
The next day the 4 siblings kept doing their project, there was a lot to do, whenever they got the chance they would work on it, their family were so pleased to see the 4 siblings so interested in a school project.
"How is it going children?" Asked Molly, the 4 siblings looked to her, then continued working, "it's going fine" said Aiden, Molly smiled, "oh guys look, do you think this is good?" Asked Aiden and his sisters went to his side and looked at the families laptop, "yeah, that's great!" Said Dawn, "way a go, making it sound so real" said Chloe, "well it was real once" said Aiden, "true" said Chloe quietly, "what 'bout you Ava? Did ya think it's good?" Asked Aiden, Ava giggled and nodded, "so, your project is coming along good then?" Asked Molly, "yep" said Aiden, then the 4 siblings got back to work.
They worked and worked until finally they were done.
The 4 siblings first showed their family, the family sat on the couch, while the 4 siblings stood up in front of them, with pictures they dug out of their bags, they glue the pictures on a big brown board, and Aiden put the laptop on the table, then they started, "this project is about us, and our life story...."
The next day they went and met their new grandparents, Molly's parents.
When they got there they were nervous because they never had any grandparents, or well, non that bothered to come around.
"Hi! It's so nice to finally meet you kids!" Said grandma, then she hugged each of the kids, but once she got to Ava, Ava scooted behind Aiden, grandma felt upset, and didn't understand, so Molly took her mother away from the kids just to explain most of what they have been through, and how they're overcoming it, after grandpa said hi, and gave the kids presents. The 4 siblings were most excited, they never had a present before. Aiden was the first to open his, inside Aiden pulled out a glove and baseball, Aiden smiled, "maybe you, Larry, and I can play some ball someday" said grandpa, Aiden nodded with a big smile, then Molly coughed slightly, Aiden looked to her, "manners" she said, "oh right" Aiden said and looked to his grandpa, "thank you very much" grandpa smiled, "you're most welcome child" said grandpa, Molly looked to her dad and said, "dad, please call him Aiden, that's his name" grandpa nodded, Chloe then opened her present, inside was beautiful dollys, and some clothes for the dolls, Molly then kneed down in front of her, "maybe we can pick you up your very own dollhouse, would you like that?" Chloe nodded with such excitement! Then she turned to grandpa and said, "thank you! And thank you Molly!" Molly and grandpa smiled, "um, they don't call you mom and dad?" Asked grandma, as she walked from a shady tree, "no mom" said Molly as she looked to her mom, "we just adopted them, it will take sometime" "what will they call us then?" Snapped grandma, "I don't know, your first name until they feel comfortable to call you grandma and grandpa!" Molly snapped back, "unbelievable" grandma then walked inside.
The kids then started taking quietly, "does she not like us?" Asked Chloe, "it doesn't seem like it" said Aiden, "wowza, what a woman" said Dawn, the kids giggled, "ok children, it's alright" said Molly, "grandma is just tired, that's all" said grandpa with a smile, the kids nodded, Larry then walked over, "okay, Dawn, it's your turn" Dawn smiled and ripped open her present, inside, there was s beautiful dolly, with long and curly hair, it was bigger then most dolls, that is what made it so special. "Wow" said Dawn in amazement, "do you like it?" Asked grandpa, Dawn looked to him, "like it? I love it!" Dawn jumped up, "thank you so much!" Grandpa smiled, it was then Ava's turn, grandpa handed her the present he got her, Ava looked to him then took it from his hands and sat beside her siblings, she then slowly opened it, inside there was a brown teddy bear, Ava picked up the teddy bear and looked at it, "well? Ava? Do you like it?" Asked grandpa, Ava looked to grandpa, then back at the teddy bear, she smiled and nodded, then she looked to Aiden, Aiden nodded, and said "Ava says thank you" grandpa smiled but also was confused, he then got Molly and Larry away from the 4 siblings to ask them questions...
"Does she not talk?" He asked, "no, she does not" said Molly sadly, "we hoped to reach her voice some day soon" said Larry, grandpa looked to Ava, and frond, "I will help in anyway I can" said grandpa.
Later that day the family drove home, the 4 siblings giggled and played with their new toys as soon as they got home, the family were over joyed that the 4 siblings liked their gifts so much! But were deeply upset about Molly's mother.
The next day the 4 siblings arrived at school and were ready to percent!
They walked into class and seen everybody with their project, the 4 siblings started to get nervous, they turned around to walk out the door, but their teacher, Mr. Burns was right behind them, "good day children, I seen you brought your project" the 4 siblings looked to each other then at Mr. Burns, they then placed their hands on their stomach, "I don't feel so well" said Chloe, "me either, my stomach feels funny" said Dawn, "oh, I see what's wrong here" said Mr. Burns, the 4 siblings stared at him, "you kids have butterflies" he sighed, the 4 siblings looked to each other in confusion, "no, we don't have butterflies, we have our project" said Aiden, Mr. Burn giggled, "no, kids, it means you kids are nervous, this must be a big step in your lives" he said, the 4 siblings looked to each other, then turned and walked to their desks.
In an hour everyone was ready to percent, except the 4 siblings, "okay, everything will be okay" said Aiden, but once the teacher called on them they screamed, "don't worry, you kids will do great!" Said Mr. Burns, the 4 siblings then got up with their project and went in front of the class, "take a deep breath and start" said Mr. Burns, the 4 siblings nodded and did then Aiden said, "okay, this is is our project of us and our life story...."
"We were horrifically beaten at a young age" said Chloe, "we knew no good, we knew nothing, but pain and heartbreak" said Dawn "we had to lie to everyone who noticed our cuts and bruises" the class went just plan quiet and listened to the 4 siblings, some of the 4 siblings classmates were even crying, some couldn't dare look away, Me. Burns mouth dropped and it stayed down until the 4 siblings were done, "so now we live here, with our adopted family" said Aiden, everyone still stared, then clapped, "um, any questions?" Asked Mr. Burns, everyone raised their hands, "wow" said the 3 oldest siblings, "okay, we'll only do a few for today" said Mr. Burns, then he sat in his chair, "okay children, pick one at a time" the 4 siblings nodded, "um, Sally" said Aiden, "it's Sallie" "oh, sorry" said Aiden, "it's alright" said Sallie, "is it true Ava doesn't speak to no one only you guys?" "Yes" said Aiden, "yes, Logan?" Asked Chloe, "did your parents really only love your twin brothers?" He asked, "yes, that's why they use to beat Ava more because they blame Ava, for their deaths" said Chloe, "uh, Anthony" "this much have been just terrifying for you guys" "yep" said Aiden then looked down, then the bell rung, "ok, that's it for today children, whoever didn't go today will go tomorrow, have a nice night children" said mr. Burns, the 4 siblings then started to pack up, "this took guts children, good job" the 4 siblings nodded, then hurried home.
