Chapter 8: Sparkmate

The morning came sooner than the two bots expected Shockwave rolled over to his right side, taking Firestar in his arms. The Prime whined to be removed from her spot, she opened her optic lids she instantly saw Shockwave's only optic dimmed.

"Hey, is it time for you to wake up?" Firestar whispers into his audio receptors. The cons optic began to undimmed to see the Prime in his sleepy vision, she heard his engines rumble as he rolled on top of the Prime's abdomen. Firestar sighed, as she did her usual with his antennas. Shockwave buried his optic into her frame and later laid it on a side.

"What are you going to tell Megatron?"

"I'll just tell him that I was doing the logical thing and watching over you, making sure nothing happened to you. I'm sure he will believe me." Shockwave wrapped his arms around her frame and flipped her on top of him. Firestar was shocked by these sudden movements and emotion. She has regained strength after her sudden transformation of the night before as Shockwave brought up his right servo to gently stroke her audio receptors. The Prime was about to speak, but once his servo made contact with her receptors. Her whole frame went still, and her breathing become uneven. This move wasn't expected from this con scientist she usually did these kinds of contact. But this time Shockwave was calling the shots, and with that, the con's arms once again made its way around her frame. Holding her as he got up from his berth, Firestar wrapped her arms around the con's neck and legs around his waist as he walked over to something she can't see. The scientist gently sat her on top of his desk as he buried his optic into the crook of the Prime's neck. Firestar still kept her arms around his neck. The con sighs into her audio receptor, sending a chill down her spine. She senses a tiny bit of nervousness and desire from him.

"What's wrong Shockwave." Said the Prime, for she already knew and felt what his intentions were.

"Firestar, I...I... Have been feeling something drive me towards you. Something I try to push away, but it is illogical." The Prime looked him dead straight at his optic.

"What I'm trying to say, is that....that..." Firestar pulled him close and kissed his "forehead" Shockwave's optic glowed with the sudden action, but this will do as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"How did this Prime make you care for a cybertronian to the point where you have to cuddle her to fall into stasis?" Firestar said in a somewhat joking matter as Shockwave purred and rubbed his helm on her neck. Firestar was taking back that he can purr as she slid her digits up and down his back.

"You know how, but how did you fall for an 'emotionless' Decepticon?" Shockwave said as he started to pick up a scent, it was sweet and relaxing.

"You showed me compassion and well who can't resist a big cuddle con." Firestar said as gave him a crushing hug, Shockwave's antennas lowered, as he comm linked Soundwave.

"Soundwave, can you tell Megatron that I'll be a little late for my studies. I have some stuff to deal with." He said as he ended the call as returned the gesture to Firestar. After receiving the call from his brother, Soundwave headed straight to Megatron's quarters. Megatron was working at his desk with some file reports from the other cons. To hear his doors open to reveal his commander of communications, the warlord smiled as Soundwave walked towards him.

"Shockwave will be a little late to his studies."

"Why is that Soundwave?"

"He got held back from the events from last night and some of last night's work." Megatron placed a hand on his chin and nodded.

"I as well gotten held back from events from last night." He said as he smirked at the commander.

"Do you want to be way more behind than you already are Megatron?" Asked Soundwave, as Megatron got up from his chair and walked towards the faceless con that he will soon reveal. The warlord pushed Soundwave into the wall and lean in towards his audio receptors.
