Chapter 12: Escape

Firestar was in Shockwave's quarters and he and Knockout were in the lab with Ratchet trying to complete the solution to synthetic energon. Shockwave was trying to find a way to bring up that Firestar was in the nemesis safe and sound and that they will escape the nemesis. He found his chance when Megatron called on Knockout over to the med bay to assist some wounded vehicons.

"How is the solution coming along doctor?" Shockwave asked as he made his way toward the Autobot medic.

"Swiftly." He responded back as Shockwave looked around the lab making sure if someone were to hear him it would only be his brother since Firestar mentioned that Soundwave also knew she was sparked alongside Knockout.

"Firestar is on this ship safe and sound." He said, as Ratchet stopped what he was doing and looked at him in disbelief.

"Your bluffing, how would you know...what did you do to her!" Ratchet said with anger in his voice as he tried to swing at him but Shockwave blocked his hit.

"Nothing, my original plan was to learn about her kind and replicate more but for the Decepticon cause but..." Shockwave said as he trailed off a bit, this was gonna be the first Autobot to know about their relationship and he was trying to pinpoint what words to say.

"But they fell in love, sparkmated, and now Firestar is sparked." Knockout said as none of the cybertronain noticed that Knockout returned as he blurted his nonsense.

"Your kidding...are you?" Ratchet said trying not to believe the delusional doctor, but when Shockwave didn't say a word he backed up.

"No...no...no this isn't true!" Ratchet said as he tried not to believe the sparkling he helped raise, the one who helped him out with his small task that same sparkling falling for the mad scientist.

"It is doc." Knockout said as they head loud footsteps make their way towards the lab.

"Shockwave...Knockout..." Boasted Megatron as the doors opened to the lab. The scientist turned around to see Megatron in the middle, Starscream on his left side, and Soundwave on his right with many vehicons joining in.

"Lord Megatron..." Both Knockout and Shockwave said in sync as their leader walked up to them. Shockwave saw Starscream had a massive smirk on his face and he turned his attention back to Megatron.

"Somethings things can go undetected on my ship, but for once, Starscream became much use for me." Said the leader of the Decepticons, as he gestured to the seeker. Shockwave keeps his one optic at his leader. Back in Shockwave's quarters Firestar was admiring herself in the mirror to see her abdomen was swollen and anyone can tell right away she was sparked. Just then she saw Predaking burst through the doors and lunged at Firestar, she didn't have enough time to think or doge as Predaking managed to grape her by her neck and made his way out of the quarters. Firestar used her wings to wrap her body so Predaking can't tell she was sparked and tried to break free. But the predacon tighten his grip hold on her neck, Firestar stopped trying and see they were making their way to the lab.

"The prisoner Firestar hadn't much been seen on the ship before the arrival of our guest, so we had Predaking go fetch her from your quarters." Starscream said as Predaking walked in at that moment. Ratchet gasped to see Firestar for the first time in over two years.

"Firestar, it has been awhile." The tone in Megatron's voice scared Shockwave as he looked at his sparkmate helplessly.

"I'm surprised that you aren't fighting against Predaking, that is so unlike you my niece." Firestar only looked at him, not realizing Ratchet was in the lab.

"If you aren't fighting against him..." he said as the predacon threw the prime against the wall. Ratchet tried to go over and help her but he was held back by vehicons.
