Chapter 10: Second Thoughts...

Megatron was very pleased with the relic but not too happy about the thought she was almost caught. That she was longer allowed to leave the nemesis ship in case the Autobots decided to investigate this new femme con.

"But I didn't get caught..." Said the Prime, as she and Shockwave made it back to their quarters.

"But the Autobots are curious and they will find a way and figure out who you are." Shockwave said as he went to his desk to work on a few things. Firestar went to the washroom and looked at herself in the mirror as she transformed back into her normal colors. She has been coating her colors with the same colors Nemesis Star had to make it seem she was a different cybertronian without the play of dark energon. Once she walked out of the washroom, she saw Shockwave reading away on his datapad as she walked over to him. She pulled the chair a bit out and sat on his lap. Shockwave was taken back by the sudden movement but placed the datapad back on the table as he wrapped his right arm around Firestar's waist. Shockwave looked up to see his sparkmate's eyes looking back at him before being presented with her lips. The scientist returned the gesture as he pushed her closer, Firestar cupped her servos to his one optic as her tail wrapped around his left leg. When they parted, Shockwave buried his one optic into her neck cables as he picked up the same scent he sniffed out the same day they both confessed their feelings. Sweet, relaxing, and a bit driven...Like he wanted to do more than kissing with his sparkmate. He needed to re-read his notes on Firestar but he heard her yawn as he stood she wrapped her legs around his waist as he laid down on the berth and they both quickly fell into stasis. The following day, Firestar didn't want to feel caged like she once felt so she headed to the med bay to see Knockout struggling a bit with some duties. Knockout hesitated but allowed her as he wanted to learn more about Firestar.

"So how can you do the things you can do?" He asked as she organizes some medical tools.

"With skills, duh! And I use to help out Rachet back at base." Firestar explained as she finished her task, Knockout smirked with the remark as Starscream came in.

"Knockout, I... Why is she here?!?"

"She is helping me, what do you want?" Starscream gave a glare towards the Prime before walking away. Firestar looked at the medic and shrugged, Knockout returned the gesture and got back to work. The seeker can be a bit weird and out of place, back in the lab Shockwave and Soundwave were both working on some assignments together. Soundwave was told his brother that Starscream was suspicious of him and his sparkmate.

"What makes him question us?" Shockwave asked his brother as he stopped what her was doing and walked over to where he was.

"Remember how you mentioned to Megatron that you wanted to create more cybertronians like her? Starscream noticed that you have not been doing that task on hand. Megatron hadn't paid much attention, he knows that you put a lot of work into yourself. And he also knows his niece can be distracting."

"How does he know that, I never see him near Firestar. Or in a friendly logical get-together." Mentioned Shockwave in disbelief.

"When Firestar was young, she followed her father into a battle. He never noticed that she sneaked out. He as well didn't notice right away when his daughter wasn't at the base when he returned."

"When did Megatron notice her?"

"After I presented myself to him with young Firestar in my arms." Soundwave said, as he further explain the story.

"Starscream, why do you always have to run away like a coward!"

"I didn't mean to my liege... I was only..." just then Starscream was interrupted by the presence of Soundwave holding Firestar in his arms. She seem to be under control as Megatron walked right up to Soundwave to pick up his niece.

"Looks like my brother had a little runaway."

"Mega." The Prime spoke in a quiet high pitched voice.

"My lord, what are you waiting for. KILL HER!" Exclaimed Starscream. Megatron looked at Soundwave then at Firestar. The Prime smiled and looked at the seeker.

"You know what I want you to do?" He asked, Firestar nodded her head. As Megatron settled her down on the floor. The Prime had a stubby walk towards the second in command, she looked at him innocently before pulling out her wings and talon servos in a menacing manner. Starscream was shocked to see this form of the young Prime as she jumped into the air and flew straight at him digging her talons into his shoulders. The commander let out a sound of pain as he tried to shake off the Prime. The young one climbed to his back and ripped part of his wings.

"Ok, I guess that is enough Firestar." Megatron said as he picked up his niece from Starscream's back, he was curled up into a ball on the floor and covered his helm from further attacks from Firestar.

"Soundwave, call Knockout to come and repair Starscream. I'll take care of our little devil." Said Megatron, as he held Firestar in his arms. The Prime peaked over her uncle's shoulder and whimpered, before a pair of doors closed on her.

"Looks like she wanted to do so much more to you, Commander Starscream." Said Knockout, who just barely came to repair the frightened seeker.

"Oh shut up Knockout." The medic laughed at the remark as he got to work. Megatron on the other hand tried to get some work down but having his niece there made it distracting. She touched this and that, crawling on the walls and poking him.

"Can u play with me pleaze!" She asked as she was hanging upside down in front of him.

"For a millionth time. No! I have work. How does Optimus put up with you!" He yelled at her, which he immediately regretted when he saw her face. She burst into tears, and she was extremely loud about it.

"It's ok, it's ok, I'll play with you," but she began to cry even more. At that moment Megatron knew he could never be a sire. He swooped the Prime into his arms, trying to calm him down. But it wasn't working, he needed to do something quickly before the Autobots came. Because by now, Optimus already got the message from his daughter that she was not ok and missing.

"Soundwave can you come here quick." Megatron called, as he tried everything. When silent con came, Megatron immediately gave Firestar to him. Soundwave first looked at the Prime then took out his tentacles, the Prime paused her tantrum and looked at the tentacles. She giggle, as she tried to get one and failed. One of Soundwave's tentacles began to tickle her.

"How?" Asked Megatron, shocked.

"You just need to have patience with sparklings, my lord." Spoke Soundwave with his normal voice. As he gave back Firestar to him, just then a con called them both to the bridge. There was an incoming message from the Autobots. The two cons left the room, to attend to the matter, leaving the young prime alone in Megatron's quarters.

"Megatron placed Firestar on his berth and left her there. It was his big mistake since Starscream sneaked into Megatron's quarters and took the Prime. Trying to get payback for what she did." Soundwave explained. Shockwave nodded his head, understanding the story.

"Young Firestar was a handful when she was a sparkling." Shockwave came to the conclusion as he walked back to where he was working.

"Imagine if you had a sparkling, that would be a handful." Said the silent con as his visor showed a smirk face on it. Shockwave looked at him and then quickly looked away.

"That hopefully not going to happen." He quickly said. Soundwave laughed as he made his way toward his brother.

"Raising a sparkling during a time of war sounds wrong, better yet how will Optimus react that his sparkling is sparked with the 'emotionless' Decepticon who performs experiments on living cybertronians." Shockwave said as he looked at his brother who removed his visor.

"Well, he has to accept that he can no longer change her mind on who she sparked with. She chose you, not caring what her family will think." Soundwave said as he placed a servo on his shoulder. Shockwave antennas flicked a bit before he looked down at his work, part of him feels like she did kinda care how her family will react once they found out she is spark bond with him.
