Broken Glass

Time passed as Mick's lifeless body lay on the ground. The room was silent apart from the tick-tock of the clock as if it was counting the minutes and the seconds that Mick was unconscious. A few moments later his fingers began to move and he began to waken up slowly but surely. After a few moments his eyes flickered open slowly...

The hoodie that Mick was wearing was full of blood. A dark red colour where the area was cut. The bleeding had thankfully stopped but the wound was no where near heeling. Mick slowly sat up and then looked down at his T-shirt swallowing. He knew he shouldn't have done it but the pain was going through his body like it was going out of style. He had to do it again!! The feel of it made him feel good. Nothing would stop him doing it now. Nothing and no one.

He slowly walked to the pile of glass on the floor and lifted it piece by piece trying to hold it carefully in his hand. Something went through his nut again telling him to do it. Do it and do it again. He clinched the fist that didn't have the class on his palm and then he slowly began to close the other. Causing the glass to being to break in his sliding through his fragile skin. Slicing it. The pain his eyes was beginning to show. No one could stop. At least that's what he thought. He had nothing to love for in his mind. No on to love. No one to care about. This felt like a drug to him. Abusing it every moment he could get to keep him going. To keep him alive. Mick weren't going to get any better. He would keep doing it and doing it until it would be too late. No one would notice. This could be the end of Mick Carter. He dropped the pieces of glass in the bin and began to continue his day as usual. Taking the hoodie off and hiding it in the wardrobe. Mick looked well. He looked like he wouldn't do it again. But he could and he would. Maybe not today...tomorrow....next week. But sometime soon, he was going to do it again. But what he didn't know was that this could be the moment that could change his life forever....
